One is second or third hand car and one is brand new! To each of its own ! I am pantang on driving a second hand car and also warranty is Beri critical for me when buying a conti car! My previous w204 got a warranty claim on the gearbox screws in my second year of ownership! If I were to replace on my own, it costs minimum 6k ! Furthermore, I enjoy suka suka going yo the sc to get my car check and drink kopi under the warranty period ! Lol. The most common issue is the steering wheel, it will get jam from time to time! I just got certain parts replaced by the sc after three jams in two years! Anyway, enjoy your new ride!

This one referring to W204 or W205 leh? You clock how many KMs per year? Actually mine mostly drive 4 times a week only, town drive.

Mine is 250 AMG! I only clock around 16k per year! 204 and 205 also the same issue! Hopefully the new E250 does not have this issue! Just got it right after CNY!

Any new tech is worth it except the stupid Eco start stop function! No need FL. The new batch of 205 now cum with 9 G Liao!

You can serv at NZ too! My experience with see and see was their SA all' Dog eyes see ppl down'! I usually wear T-shirt , Bermuda and flip flop when I visit car showroom! Lol! Maybe I don't look like I can afford these car ba!

Really? I think they are pushing C350e, after trimmed down now it gives you more reason to take C350e to C250. As it is now the price difference between these two doesn't justify the extra features available in the C350e, in another word, C350e seems more worthy. I also heard they may obsolete C250. True?

i was in situation like yours too..thinking local w205 c250 or e250 (w212 new facelift) recond with many extra goodies with it. below are my concerns for it:-
- warranty only 1 year (it can be extended but matter is HOW easy to claim it from 3rd party warranty)
- how the car is being used and how come all reconds are low mileage despite 3 years car
- for the additional cool and safety features in the car, is there any mechanics who can actually FIX it or not if it's faulty
- lastly that local SC will not take in recond cars to rectify for you the problem.


but it's your money so i guess you've thought all of these before going into it...it's definitely something nice to have for the c class on the specs you highlighted.

yea..but back to last year some buyers waited more than 6 months too...

Not all recond car with low mileage tho. Other 2 units is 45k and 56k 3 years. Matter of luck actually whether all the safety features will be faulty or not. Along the way i will update it here. See how it goes. If recond unit giving alot problems, then next time i might stick to local unit.
