Coz w205 is old car

Warranty ending soon. Any advice on items to claim before it expire? Battery already claimed last year. and still in good condition

Recently come out this kind of sound when open close trunk and they adjusted for me.

yours is GLC or Sedan? i forgotten liao. I claimed my battery on the last week of my warranty end. lol! But my car old liao....6yrs soon.

The workshop went to claim and replace with a new battery without asking. He claimed the current is weak but no notification whatsoever. Should have waited for the warning signal to appear first or at least ask me first. Now rugi 1 year already.

no warning one ler for weak battery! it will just die on you! Even your ignition coil is weak also no warning light ler! Only the check engine light will on once one of the four coils gone kaput!

Haha then got to call the towing service

Thats why after my warranty ended, i make sure my car insurance policy cover me 'unlimited towing" ! I had the experience of my car towed back from Sg to my due to 'Speed sensor' faulty! The car wont move! lol!

Yeah same

I took the 2 years extended-warranty programme. It covers the mechanical parts, but better than nothing I guess

Any adivse on C250 W205 CKD local spec ?
2nd hand running on avg RM180k.

Would like to know is it reliable car? What are the common problems and maintenance cost?

Quite ok la. Won't say problems, it's wear and tear issues! Don't expect jap kind of mantainence cost lor. Need to tAke care of the injection coils coz quite common to have engine misfire issues after 4 yes.

are you an owner driving C250 W205 too?

the price still keras after 4year + . RM180 k now alot options.
Can consider F30 LCI which drives pretty good , and build up quality improved over pre-F30. + cheaper alot.

Hello questions to all owner, when going thru uneven road or bumps at speed above 10km/h suspension/brake any noise from the front? Not like squeaking noise but like car scrapping the road (pretty sure didn't scrap).

Secondly, when coming to complete stop or moving from a complete stop brakes would be very loud like nguuuu sound, not the screeching one.

Thirdly, electric steering adjustment, sometimes it is working sometimes it is not. Anyone facing this issue?

This is for a w205 facelifted model, barely 1.5 years and 25k km

SA said the new C Class (CBU) likely be launching in Malaysia this Sept. I have my eye on this model too. So far, had tested BMW 3 series 330i & Volvo S60. Based on interior alone, Volvo takes the cake. BMW looks dated and lack the luxury feel. Was intending to get the S60 until SA pointed out the rear seats cannot be folded down.

really? usually new launched gen models will be very tight lipped. as overseas just launced not long ago. msia would take at least close to 1 year for it to arrive.
i was estimating early next year as E class facelift already long due supposed to be refreshed and launched.

I am not a fan of CBU models! Less features and higher price! Prefer to take the second batch of CkD.
