Alienware when compare to z7/5 which 1 is better? Z5/7 is more worth the money right?

alienware has longer life span which you can upgrade warranty up to 5 years

Bang for buck probably the z5/z7 but Alienware build quality is rock solid and it comes with the well praised dell warranty. At the price for 6k~ budget the only thing the Alienware lacks compared to illegear might be storage space since it only comes with 256gb ssd and display size. Not sure if it has a slot for another drive.

I'm curious of the extra slot too. Anyone able to clarify?

If it doesnt have uber good battery life and cooling with that sort of weight its really bad....

Msi ge62vr is 2.4kg with 1060...

how about you compare it with Dell alienware 15 ?

Aw15 r3 battery lasts about 6 hours in avg and temps are about 60 to 70 on load, provided you have a unit which has the fixed thermal paste and properly tightened heatsink (kaby lake version should be fixed already)

This is based on user experience on the notebookreview forum for that laptop, so the weight of 3.5kg is well justified

Ordered one AW13R3, and plan to use my old mSATA drive which I've used on the Dell 7559. I'll report back if it's workable. There are 2 slots, and both supporting PCIE SSD, not very sure if they work with mSATA. There's a version selling in US that comes with 180GB mSATA, so I'll try and see.
