It's better on the rubber strap. The bracelet has end links which jut out.

I bought it from a dealer even though that was the most expensive way to buy it because I wasn't sure if I could carry it. With a dealer, I could try it on and if really too big for me, I could decline to buy it.

So I went to the dealer and put it on and it didn't seem too large at all. Some watches are just too large. I once tried a Black Bay at 41mm and it was preposterous on my wrist. Even Submariners at 40mm feel quite large.

When I put this baby marinemaster on, it felt OK. So i bought it. Even now, after about a week, it feels proportionally right to me.

BTW, this baby mm is one of the very few watches I have tried that looks about the same in pictures as in person. Normally, watches look better in the metal than in pictures.

I initially wanted to finally buy a SKX007 like the rest of the world. I had seen it being worn a number of times up close, and had on a few occasions asked if I could try it on. It looks quite handsome on my wrist, but I never developed a strong desire to own it.

I find this mm200 to surpass the 007 in satisfaction of ownership.

The mm200 in many ways a better watch than skx007.. movement, sapphire, diashield .. I have the SBDC053 and skx too.. Hardly will put on the skx now and probably going to mod my skx now.. maybe mod the bezel with ceramic..

Yeah, ceramic bezel and maybe double dome sapphire. Get a nice Jubilee from strapcode.

Do both. The mm200 case is truly a work of genius, a similar achievement to the Oyster case. Seiko now uses it for their higher end divers and gmts.

As for skx mods, this is very cool

Bought this from GTC in Kuantan this morning. Mini turtle PADI edition. I quickly brought it to the beach to christen it in seawater. It's like with babies and the christening ceremony. A diver, once made, wants to be in the element it was intended for, 200m in the ocean. Even says so on the dial. There is a longing for the ocean. This longing is quenched by christening it in the sea. If you don't, you will find that you might drown because the watch you are wearing wants to be in its element. That's why even ferries can sink: because too many people on board are wearing divers which have not been christened. Even planes would fall into the ocean due to the collective pull of all the unchristened dive watches on board.

Mine is the srpc41j1 which was made in japan, by domestic Japanese workers with parts supplied by domestic Japanese suppliers. Who all had to do a 15 minute exercise on the factory grounds before starting work.

I paid rm1300.

The seller had also the srpc41k1 at rm1239.

Ach, zer beautee. With the Made in Japan on the dial and caseback that I paid extra rm61 for.

The mini turtle is a more upscale version of the turtle. The bezel has both high polish and satin brushed finish and has Rolex style dimples. The turtle has just a high polish with pretty blunted and indistinct knurling ala skx007.

The dial lume plots have metal surrounds (applied indices) whereas the turtle is purely printed.

The crown is angular and a thing of beauty.

In the padi edition, the dial is textured ala Seiko presages and grand Seikos.

I love your white rubber strap combo with the mini turtle.
I got 1 PADI mini turtle looks exactly same as yours.

Currently on a blue mesh bracelet 😀

I offered you rm900 for that watch on Carousell... Seiko resale values are terrible.
