minor bezel play is normal for a regular seiko.

Ever since i changed the buckle with a slimmer one, the curved end strap feels much more comfy.

Epson is affiliated with Seiko group. the majority shareholders of Epson are also majority shareholders of Seiko.

my younger brother has a friend working in Epson in JB, and through him i was told of the same story as you got, that staffs get to purchase certain selected models of seiko at a discounted price. not full range of seiko lah, only just a few models from a list released to them only.

usually with seiko 5 workhorses they should last 10 years without need for service, but when we rough it as daily use, surely some knock and bumps bound to happen. plus we might not knowingly magnetised it. so a service somewhere between 5-10 years is fair.

depends on the shop lah.

Wah Foong charged me RM120 labour for a full service, part lain kira, if any. less than a week. but if he gets busy it might even take up to 3 months due to the number of watches sent to him, especially complicated movements. but a basic 7s seiko should be a cinch for him and maybe he'd prioritise those first? shogun uses 6r movement maybe he cant take it easy like 7s
