QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Dec 10 2015, 12:10 PM) order from dabrands ebay.basically rm600, sent by fedex in 2 days, escaped GST. u could also go thru his bidding war, which usually ends up u only saving about usd20 or sometimes less...provided u win. so lazy wait 1 week with no assurance of win unless do a stupidly high bid, so better just buy-it-now and reach 2 days. |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Nov 25 2015, 01:59 PM) I took it to Thong Sia, bad luck its not a piece of fiber but a scratch. Have to send it back to Japan I guess. Isnit safe to send through pos Malaysia with tracking? Just received the replacement Cocktail Time yesterday. No scratch on the dial. But with very close scrutiny there is actually a blue dot beneath the 'i' in the 'SEIKO' word. I just don't have luck. But its a really really minor dot, barely noticeable under a magnifying glass so I'm content Actually I also noticed a very very very slight dent above the date window too. I guess this is the usual defect you hear for this model. But the dent on mine is really minor and I can live with it. The scratch... not so much. What a pain in the ass. What I'm a little frustrated with is that the replacement seems to have worse accuracy. The previous one was losing 2-3 seconds a day, this one has gained 10 seconds in a day. Hopefully it calms down. Do watches calm down after some time? Or does it just stay that way right out of the box. Oh I got Seiya to throw in a free spring bar fool. It costs USD12 on his site. No idea why such a simple tool costs that much. |

Accuracy depends on a few factors, e.g. position, power reserve etc. +10 doesn't seem too bad, give it a few days and time it again over a longer period.
I bought the Burgeon spring bar tool, which does the job no better than the ones I got for free when buying straps. |

if ur a sucker for accuracy, +10 is more desirable than -2/-3.
say after 3 days, u only need to stop second hand for 30secs instead of 51-54secs and then also u have to advance minute hand by 1... where got time nowadays i dont care already, as long as its not running out of specs. |
