Service so shitty then don't do international biz la. How can he absolve himself of everything when I didn't receive anything? Surely he needs to sort things out with his courier. Despicable way of doing biz.

Worst thing is his Instagram motto which says- "A black and white business that believes you should get what you paid for. Nonsense is not part of what we give".

I didn't get what I paid for n it's bloody expensive to be honest. Also, nonsense is exactly what he gave. Puik!

No la, totally agreed with u.. no defending him, just stating why US fellas praise him because their consumer law stronger and internal shipping less issue.

Yea, I asked for a quote on a customised bronze turtle casing and was quoted around $550 ... if this was bronze I'd have grab it.

But too late, already ordered a bronzo ...

bronzo? is it a ventus?
*
Naw, Ventus is brass, plus it looks tad bit too dressy for me.

I went for Borealis Oceanut. I'll be continuously kicking myself for opting against buying the Oris Carl Brashear, but at least I can say the non-patina look irked me, though the patina version of it was really stunning. And at least this is like 10x cheaper.

I'm still not a fan of the big onion crown. Feels so out of place on a subtle dressy piece.

Good thing is resell should be easy if I'm not taken by it.

having the gold rotor adds some touch for sure...but rest of the movement still undecorated...
i would take a nicely designed caseback anyday...but i guess then that will add to the cost...then again as ppl say 'its only a seiko' tongue.gif
*
4R they won't bother too much. It didn't even need a caseback, not like the movement is much to look at.

then they wouldnt bother doing solid casebacks for the divers too then...which obviously isnt the case.
*
Yea, I mean an exhibition caseback. A nice solid caseback would have been nicer.

Sakura JDM will be carrying model num SARY089 & 091.

darn! i was in osaka last month but i supposed by that time also all sold out thru pre-orders?
now i want the SARY089 - looks like all gone too?

how much you bought and from where?
*
If you are looking at the website, some of them would likely be sold out.

I got a friend that was in Tokyo to buy it. When I did a check on Yodobashi website, it was listed as sold out. But I realised that their website stock is different than store stocks. So he had a walk around a few Yobobashi outlets and found it.

Your best bet is just to go to the outlets and ignore the websites. SARY089 is only released on 12 Jan so there's time left.

Btw love your strap. Got link to where you bought it?

Think it was this: https://www.christopherward.co.uk/blue-embo...loyment-20mm-xs

I got it when they have the sale and it was 50% off so at 30 or so, which was not too bad. i can't remember if I took the XS or a bigger size though. Their bader deployment is superb, I must say.

In love with this one wub.gif
Do tell me if you want to sell it hehe.

Side note, im going to Tokyo in january.
Is it a lot cheaper to buy there compared to buying online from japan websites?
And afraid it will be hard to find later bcs this model is 'limited edition 1300 pcs' hmm.gif
*
Yes, a friend here help me got mine from Japan, its around 33k+ yen (38.8k with the usual Visa and tax rebate) so it's cheaper than Seiya.

But I'm pretty much it has ran out by now. If you going on January, best bet is to get the Sakura.

Only 38k yen for 087? blink.gif
I guess wont have a chance to get it there in january.

This website selling for 60.8k yen and it says in stock. Reliable?
http://www.japan-onlinestore.com/SARY087
*
Sorry, was looking at the SARY085.

The 087 should be around 50k or so (http://www.yodobashi.com/product/100000001003728646/), so at 60k it's certainly not too bad. But I can't comment on the site as I've never bought anything there.

Seiya (https://www.seiyajapan.com/collections/seiko/products/seiko-automatic-presage-sary087-made-in-japan) is listing it as sold out so I'd be surprised if they had any and it's more insanely marked up.

Still not bad if its 50k bought directly. I dont mind paying 60k tho since its now limited.
But im holding off from buying from this website bcs theres not much reviews on it  rclxub.gif
Other reputable ones are sold out.
*
Yep... One way you can do it is to buy the Sakura and swap it with someone that had the Starlight, or sell the Sakura and buy the Starlight assuming the resale on both JDM will run similar.

Yodobashi in central (tokyo) no longer have 085, only left 089.

if wanna travel outskirt of Japan still have with cheaper price. I still saw 1 piece in haneda airport with no tax  brows.gif
*
Now I'm thinking if should resell it. People already listing it at 2k hmm.gif

Then go buy the international version whistling.gif

The JDM in the shops? Don't think so, they don't even have much left in Japan itself. There's a international version limited to 3500pcs but not sure when that is launched. You can get the JDM's from some resellers here like Tai Hing watches but it will come at a cost.
