Probably can try ebay or go to flea markets and pray. That's a vintage.

Wrong MM300 for me... If it was a SBDX017, I'd think about it.

According to the guys in the museum, it is in that location because that's where the first Seiko factory was built (or nearby).

The guided tour doesn't take very long... max of 45 minutes maybe? You might spend time after the tour finishes to walk around and look more closely at the exhibits though... I guess about 1.5 hours would be a comfortable amount of time to cover everything.

QUOTE(Naka7a @ Mar 29 2016, 12:19 PM) To cover the museum is not that long like what brother biatch0 stated. But the walk there.. Damn it feels like eternity. I walked from Asakusa lolz cause I used the JR line as much as possible. The walk was ok though cause it's along the sumida river. I took the bus from Nippori (Yamanote from Shinjuku)... thought about walking but decided not to since I had already done more than enough walking in Tokyo and figured wheels where possible was a better choice. This post has been edited by biatch0: Mar 29 2016, 04:42 PM |

Crown in > Day/Date > Time
0 > 1 > 2 1) Move to Day/Date adjustment position. 2) Turn crown one way to adjust day, the other direction to adjust date. 3) ??? 4) Profit! If it's showing something that isn't in English, that's the secondary language and it's normal. Don't bother with calibration unless you are an expert with mad tools at home... unless the watch is off by 15 minutes per day or something ridiculous like that... in which case, go get it looked at by a shop and don't try to do it yourself. Supposedly it might damage the day/date change mechanism... but I don't know how true this is.
If you want to be safe, what I do is to set the day/date to 1 day before. So if today is Friday the 8th, I set it to Thursday the 7th... then I rotate the time until the watch itself ticks the day/date over itself and set the proper time. That way you are technically not setting the day/date between those "dangerous" hours. |

Red Army has them... no idea about the price though... they gave me 2 free when I picked up a Hirsch and butterfly clasp from them.

I feel malu... I signed up there but never post anything before
Also, going for first service for Emperor later this month... I managed to get some random dirt (I think) stuck under the bezel. Hopefully Thong Sia SG can handle the service... I vaguely recall that Thong Sia KL doesn't handle any of the MM/GS range, correct me if I'm wrong. This post has been edited by biatch0: Aug 3 2016, 09:29 AM |

Taking the MM1000 about 1000m in the wrong direction. Up in Cameron Highlands considering going for a masat 😂
EDIT: Because iPhones apparently still don't play well with VBulletin and can't tell that the photo is rotated. This post has been edited by biatch0: Oct 8 2016, 08:58 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
