QUOTE(dualshock @ Sep 7 2007, 01:18 PM) i'm using razer stuff day in day out also like blacktrix and i also don't have any complaints so far...no need because of a small defect in a single razer product, you bash the entire razer lineup... well, maybe their other products, yes. but i bought one of their most expensive mouse, so i expected something better. bashing the entire lineup? well, it is not without facts. People have been complaining world wide since years ago. if they cant control their QC and listen to complains from end user to release a permanent fix (like logitech did with their G15 & z5500, well, at least announce it), do you think I, as a customer, shouldn't voice out my opinion and still support their product? some poor souls RMAed the mouse several times and yet, it died on him again and again. you call double clicking a small defect? I've gamed average at least 4-6 hours (considered minimal) per day, almost everyday. And the games that I play are FPSs (left button is vital). In less than a year, the double clickin came out. I've no problem with other mouse which I've used the same way over past 3 years. i'm just giving advise for others to think twice before jumpin into the hype. maybe they've improved it in their new lineups. but i've lost my confidence towards razer already. maybe i'll still buy their mats tho. QUOTE(blacktrix @ Sep 7 2007, 11:01 AM) I use Razer products on a daily basis...... no complains from me......... err... happy CH user here... no complains here also... no double click issue no squeeky wheel... juz nice to move green CH here... So far I think mostly Copperhead owners are complaining though........ The 3G Infrared sensor so far holds its own. QUOTE(Ickythump @ Sep 7 2007, 02:19 PM) for me only 2 important points to look in a mouse...1) must fit my hand grip(gotta admit CH ain't my size...) 2) response to watever way i move it...(my CH really moves the way i want) QUOTE(shinjun @ Sep 7 2007, 02:22 PM) Razer may loss customer due to it fugly item, but then not every ppl are looking into it's look that much. don be 2 sure... i like the new 1 more than DA... way lotz... QUOTE(defconkiller @ Sep 7 2007, 08:30 PM) actually, there's a remedy to that. open up the case/hull of your mouse, yeah, break the warranty and WD40 the scroll wheel supporting part if i remembered correctly. BUT, but but but...i do not expect to do that after i paid RM190 for a DA (IF). |

Meh.. I've used both Logitech and Razer (MX510, MX518 and Diamondback <-current) and they all gave me problems. The sad thing is that.. theres nothing else to choose from besides those 2 companies you call double clicking a small defect? I've gamed average at least 4-6 hours (considered minimal) per day, almost everyday. And the games that I play are FPSs (left button is vital). In less than a year, the double clickin came out. I'm gonna try logitech again I guess but their mice cost more than Razer's =/ and they're pretty fugly too. |

I don't know about other razer mouse users here, from my experience my first copperhead died about after 1 week. Then the second experienced
double clicking problem. Then my third one also had double clicking problems after a year or so then i said nvm,but it came to a point where i couldn't stand it and i sent it back.So now I'm waiting for the mouse to come back. This post has been edited by Nemesis181188: Sep 8 2007, 01:49 PM |

QUOTE(khelben @ Sep 8 2007, 01:16 AM) Tsk, so many other gaming mouse out there. Too bad people are so.. "unaware" zzz..What you should say is, not much gaming mouse products that is being sold instead of choose. I have to admit, it's uber hard to find other gaming mouse brand in Malaysia but it's not impossible. But whatever, it's your opinion and it's a free country. QUOTE(defconkiller @ Sep 8 2007, 02:03 AM) True. Or maybe it's their QC doing a lousy job no? I Don't mean to be an a-hole but hey, it's true right? Most of the people who reviewed these gaming mouse don't have an update review after say 1 year right? So yeah, it's impossible to tell if the mouse is going to be as it should after a long period of usage. |
