Yep, waiting patiently for it. Let's hope it doesn't take too long. I'm currently using a standard Dell keyboard (it sucks and it clicks too much)

Browse thru some reviews... according to the reviews so-so only, compared to the G15 and Tarantula, as the reviews said can't be surprise abt it performance compared to those two, considering its basically mid-range (cheaper) compared to hi-end range like G15 and Tarantula.

Cheers smile.gif

yup it's 2 years dealer warranty. basically shops will send warranty claims back to the malaysian distro (in this case ban leong iinm) and you'll get your mouse back or in most cases a brand new mouse in package.

QUOTE(Ffenixz @ Jun 10 2007, 11:05 PM)
I want to join this too. laugh.gif I'm a Razer Diamondback Limited Edition Plasma Blue user. Actually I've been using this mouse for about a year. Bought it during August PC Fair 06.

I want to ask something here. My mouse's scroll function is not functioning well anymore. When I scroll down in a webpage for example, the page will go down but after 2 to 3 clicks (It's not click actually, but you know when you scroll, there is this click sound) the page will go up even if you scroll down and then after 6 to 7 clicks it will go down again and continue like that in a loop. and vice versa (I'm not sure if anyone can understand my statement sweat.gif).

My question here is does anyone here experience this problem? How do you encounter it? Send to shop or repair by yourself? IF repair yourself, how? I ask this question here because i bought this mouse from PC Fair which means from Ban Leong. The truth is I don't know where Ban Leong is. I know it's in PJ but I don't know the exact location. Even if I know where it is, it's a hassle to go there because I'm living in Serdang and I don't have my own transport to go there. So it will be great if someone knows how to self repair it.

Thanks in advance. smile.gif

I am facing tis annoying issue with my first edition red copperhead

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 13 2007, 03:19 PM)
well both my copperheads were from a early batch.
i got mine somewhere around oct 05.
both have no probs until now.

i also heard before that the different colors were made in different factories.

so just curious how many that have double click are what colors.
im guessing its mostly non first-edition blues?

Really two years?
I took it to the crappy PC Depot last week and he say after 1 year cannot RMA. Screw their asses.
Then I said Ban Leong provide more than 1 year warranty then dont know who of them said "like that ah, we can help you RMA, but I will have to pay for the labour charge for about 50-60." Damn stupid

thats probably cos PC Depot didnt get their stock from ban leong, but rather imported it themselves.

And if u want them individually it costs RM25. Not sure whether they fixed the scroll problem in the new edition or not, but so far it works fine. Pictures are in my BLOG.

Weeeeeeeeeee...... Joining the club. Own a Diamondback (for my laptop..... because of the traveling bag), Mantis Speed mat (came free with C&C3) and today just picked up a Deathadder.....

Originally wanted to use it for Photoshop and Flash work in the office, but I love it so much, I replace my Logitech MX500 at home and will now use that as my office mouse!

why RMA with ban leong? do u know that u can RMA razer products urself online, directly to razer singapore??

that really means that you're no longer dealing with the shops u bought from, instead, razer's HQ.. dealing with shops all those r waste of time.. they delay ur time, and at first give u excuses that ur mice is still ok bla bla bla, which is damn annoying [typical malaysian sales ppl, no offence, thats the truth.. and i've yet to see anyone in malaysia giving me some better cust service, 98.5% of them are like that (maybe we should do a list of shops that provide good cust service, eg no craps no nothing pure satisfaction].. hell with them..

just go directly to razer singapore.. send a few tickets online and they'll try helping u out with some simple troubleshooting, and if it's really a serious case, for instance like your scroll wheel or so isnt functioning then confirm can do 1..

duration for the rma will take approx. 2 weeks.. time starts when u send ur broken stuff to razer's logistics in Hong kong, and upon receiving it, razer will send u a replacement, BRAND NEW! from singapore to ur house...

a simple tip is that, razer will only RMA ur stuff if ur still within the 1 year timeframe.. but u still can ask for an RMA provided that IF, you have not register ur product with razer [online] .. and.. "i forgot wat i was supposed to say" ..

personally i've done one RMA with my mice, n might do another one with my keyboard (i've got confirmation from them that they'll do it) .. not only that but i've got replacement mouse feets from razer, but bad luck, they dont do it anymore laugh.gif , and also a replacement for my exactmat feets (or maybe the exactmat itself, i've requested for it) which is arriving soon to my doorstep laugh.gif ..

this is why i'll choose razer anytime to other brands.. creative dont even reply my emails.. acer dont even give a damn on my emails.. same goes to cooler master AND logitech .. unless if they could earn some money off you [in short --> no after sales service, only pre-sale.. ]..

Hi everyone. Is there a place where I can test the Razer DeathAdder mouse? I'm planning to get one and I really would want to test out a unit before I purchase it because it's the first time I'm buying a gaming mouse, and the price isn't really cheap. Thanks a lot in advance smile.gif

jakesean,

you got your point there but it still takes 2 weeks to RMA rite? i think you know that Ban Leong is actually the main distributor of Razer locally...personally i have very good experience with Ban Leong, not once, not twice but three times and guess what...whenever i send my mouse or keyboard for RMA, they change it for me IMMEDIATELY provided there is existing stock in their office...and if there is no stock, maximum is 3 days...

RMA-ing through shops is a big no no and i don't agree with that too...my advice, direct send to Ban Leong and you'll get reply very soon...
