Quoting from imore : To be clear, if you're a tech enthusiast who is super into extreme workloads and synthetic benchmarks, it's an interesting subject to knock around. If you're a mainstream consumer, ignore the noise. There's no meaningful difference between iPhones and your time is much better spent enjoying your new phone

exactly as pointed out here. TSMC or Samsung, they will both handle your daily needs just fine.
Even if I'm gaming on these chips, i find no lag whatsoever which can frustrate me.
Don't worry about the components and just enjoy the phone. smile.gif

Apple Claims TSMC vs Samsung A9 Chip Variants Result in Only 2-3% Difference in 'Real World' Battery Life

QUOTE
With the Apple-designed A9 chip in your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, you are getting the most advanced smartphone chip in the world. Every chip we ship meets Apple's highest standards for providing incredible performance and deliver great battery life, regardless of iPhone 6s capacity, color, or model.
Certain manufactured lab tests which run the processors with a continuous heavy workload until the battery depletes are not representative of real-world usage, since they spend an unrealistic amount of time at the highest CPU performance state. It's a misleading way to measure real-world battery life. Our testing and customer data show the actual battery life of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, even taking into account variable component differences, vary within just 2-3% of each other.

That's why I don't really feel to upgrade
This time feature upgrade its not amazing for me
But at least 5 to 5S, the Touch ID makes me want to change
*
touch id in 6s is blazingly fast according to reviews.
plus battery life is much better than 6 too.
but if im using 6 now, 6s really not much 'wow' effect to me except its colour.

touch id isn't my thing. laugh.gif

What I felt like is if Apple made a statement.. It means it's more than that.
I talked to a guy on the Apple Online Chat and he said that no one would want the Samsung chip too and he understands cause it's also few degrees hotter than the TSMC chip..

All of us felt that at one point or another.
If you are someone who upgrades every year regardless of anything, then you will end up getting it no matter what.
But if you are not upgrading every year, then you would probably end doing so when the is major hardware change.
Touch ID is something i can't afford not to have anymore. combine that with virtual home, its no pressing of home button anymore. just tapping.

Based on my usage, i can go on without charging it for 1.5-2 days.
Thats good enough for me.

I didn't have any luck last night/this morning. I'm a debit card user and Maxis told me they don't accept debit. Just.... WHYYYY

Looks like I have to buy it on Launch Day like a noob. Can you guys recommend me the best time to queue @ Maxis? Should be the same time as self-collection, 7AM right? Or earlier lol
*

Since then 5s, Maxis dont entertain walk ins to buy their iphones during launch date. Only those who preordered can collect their phones that day. I dont suggest you queue as you will waste your time for nothing. If you want to queue, do so at the Apple Resellers like Machines, Switch etc.

MYR is strengthening over SGD and USD.

Both USD and SGD units are becoming cheaper compared to MY too. Shall we wait?

we are lucky to some how get the iPhones in second wave.
otherwise usually our country will be 4/5 wave and by then we are almost half thru the product cycle.
i'd say that if you know that you are suppose to get it, just go ahead.
waiting longer will only shorten the product cycle.
my 2 cents on waiting. icon_rolleyes.gif

At the end of the day, it's still an iPhone and we're all in the same ship.

After using 3D touch, I find that I relied on it too much as it just reduce the steps of doing certain task.

For those thinking whether should get it now or not, don't think. Just buy. In SG, all 3 telcos still stating RG is OOS unless you get from Apple Store.
