Guys, I have achieved 10xRM 50 transactions and I have these two transactions:

i) 77.72 for TNB
ii) 39.10 for DiGi

I know if I spend additional RM 5, I will get additional RM 1 of cash back. For my transactions above, I can just pay like normal right? No need to add RM 5, am I right?

Thanks. biggrin.gif

You only need to add RM5 in case your total spending for each category is RMXX0. For me I spent first, then till end of the month only total up, to the nearest RM5, like pump RM2 petrol or pay RM0.50 TNB if needed..

assuming that you have done the exact figure rm50 x 10times and you would like to maximise your cb categories with that 2 transactions:
1) you may pay rm75 (underpay) or rm85 (overpay) to get the cb of rm8 or rm9 respectively.
2) you may pay rm35 (underpay) or rm45 (overpay) to get the cb of rm4 or rm5 respectively.

because you only overpay RM5 for each category, when nearing the end of the month (per kelvinlzy's advise]. then only you know how much (overpay) to adjust accordingly.

for utilities and petrol or mobile, easy to perform minute adjustment biggrin.gif

for grocery, that's why i always say very tedious to hit ngamngam RMx5.xx. do this if u got super free time to browse all the items at Sam's to meet the target.

i use Excel to let me know the target amount to swipe based on near-final total category amount. laugh.gif well, i enjoy doing it anyway tongue.gif

arent u the one saying not to chase the cashback if need to overspend too much? biggrin.gif

aiyah, you'll get the hang of using Wise. take few months to readjust your spending, then you'll easily hit RM9x-100 cashback.

Went to Sam's to pay Streamyx bill.

As mentioned before, there are 3 TM options in their system:
- TM bill
- TM Streamyx
- TM Unifi

When I told the cashier I want to pay Streamyx bill, she told me that the TM Streamyx option has error, and would not work.

As suggested by one of the forumer here before, I asked the cashier to just use the TM bill option on their system. She helped me to entermy Streamyx bill number (without the first alphabet). Everything went well at first and she even swiped my card. Towards the end, there was an error again doh.gif So in the end have to ask a supervisor to come over and void the transaction...

Anyone care to share if you have experience paying Streamyx bill? (Note: Unifi no problem <- the cashier said)
