I set the threshold of SMS transaction alert to RM 1.

Basically, I do get SMS for any transaction performed, by physically swiping WISE card at the credit card terminal.

Then again, for November and December, I did not get any SMS, for online payment of Maxis bill, through Maxis Pay website.  This is a manual payment, not autodebit transaction.

Are SMS also sent for online transactions?  hmm.gif
*
if i'm not mistaken, no sms since already verified via OTP

added U Mobile's postpaid bill payment via mobile app. Now, it's qualified as Mobile category since they added the telco name on the description.

total cashback RM100.
spending 10xRm50 = RM500
spending 50xRm5 = Rm250 (as u said RM5 = RM1 cashback)

sum = RM500 + Rm250 = Rm750.

possible?
*
u got the concept all wrong.

the rounding only to each category subtotal.

understand this, cashback is strictly on MCC , it's the merchant category code that defines the nature of business (which applied the cc terminal).

hope hlb wise revised benefits will be announce asap, if not good then can cut before renewal.
*
at least 21 days before effective, must be announced.

hope it only affects NEW cardholders, instead of blanketing all biggrin.gif

3 possibilities of revision:

1) rm100 max cap revised down. if so, they better remove the 10xRM50 requirements. maybe unlikely cuz they also wants us to spend more.

2) 10% cb rate revised down. very likely cuz by reducing the cb rate (if #1 maintained capped at rm100) means users are gonna spend even more to reach max rm100.

3) reduce categories. maybe unlikely since other cards already revised to selective categories. Wise's essentially applies to certain categories, not everything/unlimited.

Do you think there will be probable revisions like these? Hmmm.. That's why HLB performed quite a long system maintenance last weekend? This is not a good news.

ahh, that infamous petronas smile.gif it was a popular place to reload tng using m2card amex biggrin.gif

thanks for the link.

Thanks.

Just wondering...under HLB Wise, this would be under the utility category?
*
how can that be under Utility? the MCC is tied to Petronas, not the items that you're paying.

next month I think i need to pay the anuual fee of my my wise card .....no need to call the customer service to ask for waive? Confirm have to pay for it?
*
try call lor. no harm, right?

generally, they will reject the request outright due to high cashback given already. very hard to argue this point laugh.gif

furthermore, i already know prior to application the AF waiver rejection, so already mentally/financially prepared to pay AF from year 2 onwards sweat.gif

best is to maximize the cashback every month, to offset the AF.

Anyone know why a posting of transaction is delay?
I do transaction on petron on 28 dec. Until today (30-Dec) , not yet posted.
Is this normal? This is my 10th transaction exceed RM50...
*
in my swipes so far, petron sometimes takes 2 days to get posted. some stations posted it +1 day, some stations +2 days.

ok, u swiped on 28 Dec, most likely posted on 30 Dec (you wont see this on 30 Dec, need +1 day baru can see). today 31 Dec, you should see the tranaction in HLconnect.

another way is to check your CL, whether the petron amount already deducted from your CL.

IF today you cant see the transaction in HLconnect, call up CS to check whether it has been posted. pray that it get posted today 31 Dec. tomorrow 1 Jan, you can see it in HLconnect.
