U prefer pure or not pure? 

I just walked into CIMB to ask abt this.  She said dont have.  12-mths is only 4.2%.  So I asked her to check again with HQ and call me if got 4.3% pure FD.  Hopefully ada.

that's like every bank in malaysia and beyond...

is this a requirement for any bank if you want to have FD? aiyoh, like that i need to go open new accounts in many banks liao...

Correction. Plus affin bank SA. FD mana? Inside ASX FP No need to keep chasing FD promos. Earning 6.X% p.a apa lagi lu mau?

Just made a FD placement today at Am bank for 2 years. Interest credited into truesaver

UOB 12 months 4.2%
Ambank 2 years 4.6%.
Ocbc 13 months 4.2%.

Have placed into all these banks.

Today went to Citi bank withdraw my mature FD.

The counter girl asked why want to withdraw.
I said because your bank robbed my money
She said "I beg my pardon"
I said i dont want to give Citi bank free money. 

Milo at Giant sold at 33 and Tesco sold at 31. Giant robbed me rm2? Or I give Giant rm2?

I don't believe. I think he's joking with those words.

wow.. finally 4.5% came out faster that i expected..

18 months, means 1.5 years.. not bad..

Been out of touch for some time. Just went to maybank2u to check out mbb's GIA campaign. One thing I'm not sure of is the profit rate and the profit sharing ratio (PSR)



Do we get the 4% or our share only 70% of 4% ie 2.8% only ???

One good thing about this is that we can take out money anytime & they will pay "profit" up to the date we withdraw, no need to be mthly anniversary. Besides, they pay the "profit" to your nominated maybank account every month.

Anyone has experience with this GIA?

Im curious to know too if any early adopters have checked their profit by now and confirm if its really as promised

banks open on Monday right?

You won't get promo rates after your FD matured right? And is only 1 day (Monday), will they give board rates for that 1 day?

But will you get promo rates for that Monday or board rates for that Monday?

How can you go to bank and place for promo FDs on Sunday? Banks are close unless you are located in Kelantan, Terengganu and those states. And I don't think one can get promo rates online.

As AmBank True's "ambassador" i am surprise you didn't know that Ambank do have weekend banking on first and last Saturday/Sunday of every month in different states?
