QUOTE(Rotuham @ Oct 5 2015, 06:32 PM) Benitez drew in the madrid derby after being too defensive.Madrid fans are furious with him. Sack him also those stupid noisy fella then, If we wait one or two months he'll get sacked and then we can hire him. From what I saw, Real Madrid wasted tons of chances and was even unlucky to have a clear penalty towards the end after Ronaldo was pushed inside the box. And Ronaldo himself was well well below his electrify self, shooting sky high balloons balls, and off target in number of chances. (As if he is off key or lack of interest to play under bentitez but benetiz can't drop him just yet) Anyway, RM always fared the worse against AM in years. |

Dunno how far the Klopp news is true, will wait for soccernet to post before can trust it...the challenge we face is, just like getting brilliant players to join us, is that how likely is it that a manager like Klopp or Ancelotti will accept the job offer, given how badly screwed up the club is at the moment? Probably they'll have to wait a season and a half before we can challenge for CL again. So will need a manager who is keen on rebuilding, not one who wants to challenge straight away.

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Oct 5 2015, 06:34 PM) Sack him also those stupid noisy fella then, Always an excuse for benitez and always blaming others. The 2nd best player in the world is now crap. From what I saw, Real Madrid wasted tons of chances and was even unlucky to have a clear penalty towards the end after Ronaldo was pushed inside the box. Soon it will be florentino perez taking the blame for not having patience and how he has sacked so many managers over the years. Then it will be how barca has the best attack force in the world and nobody can stop them.Let him win one major trophy there to prove he still has it.Copa del rey doesnt count btw. If benitez can make me eat my words i'll have him back at lfc.Until then he's not coming anywhere near liverpool. |

Probably they'll have to wait a season and a half before we can challenge for CL again. So will need a manager who is keen on rebuilding, not one who wants to challenge straight away. Exactly why Klopp seems like likelier option than Ancelotti. Why would a 3 time European Champion spend years cleaning up our mess in order to challenge again? He has proven himself enough that given the tools he will win his team trophies. At Milan, Chelsea, PSG and Madrid Ancelotti won trophies with pretty much teams he was handed with. Will he be able to rebuild us from ground up?I assume if appointed Klopp will be looking at the Bundesliga for talents which is not a bad place to look at at the moment. Even though there are many admirers of his rebuilding job at Dortmund, his record is far from perfect. He took Mainz into Bundesliga and then eventually overachieving by qualifying for the UEFA Cup before they eventually got relegated again and never got promoted in which his resignation followed. His start at Dortmund was slow for 2 seasons before winning successive titles in his 3rd and 4th season. But his final season again was disappointing which again led to his resignation. Both big name managers are far from guaranteed success even though they are definitely a step up over Rodgers. This post has been edited by Cloud0890: Oct 5 2015, 08:44 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 5 2015, 09:05 PM) dailyfail again. To be fair, they did mention that.it's no secret how the TC operates and which BR was a part of. and BR always had the final say on who to sign...just a question of who is on the shortlist selected by the TC. perhaps by now FSG has learnt their way of selecting players isnt always right...but the TC doesn't look like going away anytime soon. The 42-year-old was a member of the committee and had a significant say. The club have always insisted that a player would never be signed unless the manager ultimately agreed to the deal. There were set parameters that Rodgers feels undermined him, though. It is understood, for example, that Rodgers was told that the club would not, as a general principle, sign players over the age of 24. This is why the Northern Irishman's wish to sign Swansea defender Ashley Williams and left-back Ryan Bertrand were scuppered last summer. Williams is 31 and Bertrand is 26. Personally though I would just do away with this TC nonsense and let Klopp have a say in who will be appointed a DoF who will work in tandem with him and make signings that fit his philosophy. |
