hl518..vantex t2..vantex 416.. not recommended.. because it is touring chasis.. need more mod to play CS..

hello everybody.. yesterday i play at D race carpet surface.. still noob..
already swap my steering system with enRoute + enRoute knuckle = crazy steering angle..
will post some pic later.. now nid to work on my CS ratio.. i dun even know whats my CS ratio.. shop where i buy say 1.6 and sifu at Ioji say woa CS 1.9
later i count all my gear and calculate..

Hi, most RC Car that you guy buy is electric or Nitro?

RC for drifting usually electric power..

your enroute is 2 beltings chassis right? the calculation is simple.

front ratio divide by rear ratio

how to get front ratio?
no. teeth in front pulley (the pulley which attached on your front one way) divide by no. teeth in center pulley (front belt)

how to get rear ratio?
no. teeth in rear pulley (the pulley which attached on your rear spool) divide by no. teeth in center pulley (rear belt)


please take note it is not necessary front pulley divide by center pulley and it can be vise versa depends on which pulley is bigger than the other. But usually front pulley (front one way spool) and rear pulley (rear spool) are bigger than center pulleys for front motor chassis design.

Added on January 4, 2012, 3:10 pmC.S 1.9 is abit over kill for newbies, some may said u can practice with higher C.S so later stage when u play with lower C.S will be easier to control, but thats not entirely true.

both high n low C.S have its own difficulties.fo me, C.S btw 1.6 - 1.7 is just nice for newbies. (not too oversteer and understeer).

btw, im on C.S. 1.5 right now, used to play C.S 1.7-1.8. hehe...

yea.. happy new year to u too.. rite now i have no idea what is my cs ratio.. nid to calculate using ur formula.. i have tried other people car that has 1.6 something ratio and it just nice to control.. i can do donuts with my current unknown cs but in proper track it tend to spun even with my massive steering angle.. and i need to work more on my throttle control.. gonna save up for sensored motor and esc.. btw my sanwa servo are up for sale.. i got two to let go.. anyone interested pm me.. Sanwa SRM-102 servo..

nope, not recommended if you are really into this hobby. TM E4D is not meant for drifting initially.
