I want to write something about the Clone OTA R31 here.
The clone is actually TEH R31 manufactured by HYM(HY/Vantex), chassis is plastic, motor holder is iron. I bought mine @ DRCTOYS.com(puchong perdana kompleks tingkat 1) despite being plastic, the quality is actually bagus teramat sangat for its price.can match with HPI E10 quality(RM650 RTR, 450 chassis only), however, prepare to have minor missing parts such as servo linkage or shocks, but can go claim at shop lar, they got several case like this before, they wont hesitate to give u the parts. idk the function for the 3-way belt system actually, mcm sama jer ngan belt sistem biasa. been using it for bashing, but it hold up, except the UJ sometimes come out, but can put back de don't worry. shocks are very soft. and the rims that comes with the clone is cheap plastic, very brittle. consider very good for the price adi.

if Yokomo DRB 2nd hand for RM1700 is it worth it? and 2nd hand Tamiya 417 for RM900?

and i saw at RCSMART selling the MT4 for + 2 servo (RX-461) RM680.. got 2 sanwa servo for RM100 vs MT4 w/o servo RM580.. is it any good?

Im not really sure about the sanwa servo.. It should be decent.. I bought the one without servo..

Regarding the yokomo and 417.. Im not sure about their 2nd hand value.. Have to wait the sifu to reply.. But im guessing u have to see the condition of the chassis itself to determain the value..

whats the condition of the DRB? what is inside the package?

A brand new Yokomo DRB cost about RM2k without Front one-way and CS Gear. it will cost you about 2.5k for complete package
(chassis+front one-way+CS Gear)

you can ignore the 416 chassis as it is not meant for drift in the first place. look for chassis that has front motor mount design.

the Sanwa servos came with MT4 are crap, so u can get the one wihtout servo.

from the pic of it, condition is looking good and looks like he change/hop up quite a number of parts...RM1.7k sound reasonable to me.

Where u guys usually play? Can come and see u guys play if nearby.. Nearest to my place is glenmarie and ss19..

For pj/sunway area u can try max power rc@ puchong (near tesco puchong), ioji RC@damansara damai or D Race RC@sunway giza. Kl area u can go to MOD@cheras batu9 or D3 Rc@axis atrium.

Usually ioji Rc, mod n d3 will have more drifters so u can go there n have a look.

For me I usually hang out in mod coz most of the champs play or practice there.

Ss19 is mainly for touring while glenmarie have drift track but I heard these two tracks are having very less drifters playing coz nowadays most drifters prefer indoor tracks n carpet surface.

Ooo.. why play on carpet? less wear n tear is it? got diff feel in play on asphalt?
