Added on October 16, 2011, 5:09 pmI'll recommend Vantex T2 (design copied Xray T2) and Vantex 416/HL518 (both are same cars. design copied tamiya 416). T2 and 416/518 are both great cars. very popular now as they are cheap and parts widely available. You can get those cars as RTR set from lelong.com.my for about rm350+-. But dont forget, you need a front-one-way to ease your drifting. and also, a locked rear diff for more drift angle. ohh and also a high capacity battery to play longer! as for beginner, CS setup is too hard... even for myself

many people suggest me to buy xray or 416..
but,xray and 416 which one very better and easy to upgrade to be powerful in drift??

@shah... hl 518 is better than xray or 416 cuz most of its parts are alloy... good for beginners... but 416 or xray easier to get parts... so its up to you post pics when bought

Hey guys, im new to the drifting scene.. just bought myself a TT01D kit. Cost me around 1K for the complete set . For now mostly play in my apartment parking lot.. hehe.. where do you guys drift usually.? Would be glad if could join u guys sometime and could also pick up some pointer.. cheers.. im from kl btw.

which part of kl you staying?

there are few indoor tracks available in KL, Selangor area.

MOD Track in Cheras Batu 9.
D3Drift in Ampang Atrium Axis mall.
Max power circuit in Puchong, Near Tesco Puchong
RC Ioji in Damansara Damai

there are out door tracks avail as well, though i prefer to go indoor...more comfortable and hygine....

please be reminded these indoor tracks have control on tyres, so please be ready to fork out some money if you do not have the selective tyres..

Im from mont kiara.. i heard about those track you mention.. might be free to night to check out MOD in cheras.. but most probably just to check out.. too noob to go on track i think.. haha.. thanks for the info regarding tyre tho.. i did buy the ABS tyre the other day cos the stock TT01 drift tyre we too soft for the parking lot cement.. it grip too much. so does that means different track require different sets of tyre?

mostly indoor tracks are cement or carpet only
