Boss, so finally you manage to use the Ecohill link to reach the Lekas from North Gate? What's your opinion between the old Jalan Semenyih and new Ecohill Lekas Link..

I think that's are the weakness of SEH compare to EM.

1.) SEH built alot of good landscape (lakes, playground, fountain, unique sculptures) but all hidden inside the fencing area which public cannot access, especially not to the attention of the first time comer. If people is not impressed during the first time visit, how SEH can expect better sales.

2.) The PARC is really impressive with great views and tonnes of top notch playground facilities. Nevertheless, it will serve the real purpose only during evening time, which people start to flood the PARC with different leisure activities. The PARC however is not "friendly" for the first time comer, because they may come with not appropriate attire (high heel for example) and during afternoon (under hot sun). Again, if people is not impressed during the first time visit, how SEH can expect better sales.

3.) The roundabouts landscape along Jalan Ecohill, such as The Breeze, The Wind and The EcoCave seem do not create the impact that are appreciated by the first comer, especially during morning period, which the sculptures at the Breeze and the Wind doesn't glow at morning time. Again and again, if people is not impressed during the first time visit, how SEH can expect better sales.

4.) SEH spends tonnes of money to bring in AgilFence PIDS system into SEH (first time in Malaysia, currently SEG also will implement it as well) for security enhancement. This is an world-class award winning perimeter fencing technology and has been used even for the security purpose in Changi Airport. Nevertheless, it seems like SEH fail to market this world-class feature to the public effectively, not to mention to the first time visitor. In their marketing material, they just put some fibre optic picture and mention it is one of the most intelligent security system, wondering how many commoner really understand and appreciate it.. ... Again and again and agian, if people is not impressed during the first time visit, how SEH can expect better sales.

No doubt SPS has done a great job in SEH, but their marketing strategy seems still lagging compare to the EW on EM. IF SEH wants to be remain competitive compare to EM, they must do significant improvement on their marketing strategy and work out effectively how to impress the potential customer, especially the first time visitor..

This is bad...

Next time if you see Chris (left in pic), complaint to him.. He is the assistant manager of sales and marketing of SEH.

Yeah, that's why I said, all the good landscape hidden inside the fencing area, no way first time visitor will realize all about this magnificent landscape available in SEH..

To push the sales (though their sales is quite good now), they need to do something on this for sure..

That's really unfortunate for sure... Nevertheless, I believe ES shall be another platform for EW to show their strength and determination to rebound after such incident...

Seems like many complaint about the quality of the show houses..

May I know if the show houses in ES are temporary purpose or shall serve as one of the built unit later?

As for the EM, the show unit for DSL cradleton is temporary and have been demolished less than a year to give way to the construction of Mellowood units.

If for temporary purpose, I can understand the rationale of inferior quality of the building material used for this show units.

By the way, I also not really like the staircase design with void between the steps, prone to accident (slippery) and not comfortable for ladies who are wearing skirts.

From what I can see here, for both EM and ES, visitors don't feel the "wow" factors of the ID.

EW may need to consider to build a bare unit as show house in future - so that can have the direct comparison.

In addition, perhaps need to consider to change the ID company.

Many visitors of EM show unit complaint the houses look cramped and small even for cluster units. That's why significant ID changes have been made on the show units after that..

Boss, normally you do little renovation before moving into a house? That's why emphasis more on the build quality inside the house?

Boss, if you have good ID compare, perhaps can share here..

If the EW staff is reading the forum, perhaps can consider for the ID work..

Personally, I think the timber strips and stair case not the major work in this context. Anyhow, can reflect your opinion to ES.

If my memory serves me correctly, there are no such colour timber flooring in EM. Wondering why EW choose this color instead...

I presume ES should do a survey to collect the response about the ID work.

Lol, not quite, I frequently come across show house is bare unit woh, ID suppose to "beautify" it and gives a "wow" impression.

Apparently, from your perception, they fail to do so. Therefore, doing a survey can get a collective view from most of the visitors..

By the way, since interior quality of the house is so important for you, rather than township planning / landscape amenities, before you purchase the 2 units in ES, you never visit any of their past project for reference?

Apparently, you are not impressed with the house interior quality of EM, but still proceed with the purchase in ES?
