I was expecting of a more rational and thoughtful reply. It's really not abt doing it purposely or not. The test just shows how easily it can be bent. It'll be just a matter of time before someone somewhere 'bends' it unintentionally

Oh wait. It's your money at the end of the day. But engineers exist for a reason
*
There's many other video/reviews proved 6P is tough enough, if the crucial weakness point avoid ( like all phones ). From mechanical engineer point of view, the battery/mobo position + button layout provide really good weakness point/area.

However point is, in which situation you 'accidentally' apply really strong pressure over that particular horizontal weakness point/area ? I personally dont see how I will, I mean my butt are round and saggy laugh.gif , not strip of rock hard thin bone rolleyes.gif and I dont put phone in back pocket and sit on it like an idiot.

It's the same bendgate fiasco on ip6, they didnt design the casing to be press against small horizontal area, but the standard test procedure are using round normal size meaty butt. Bear in mind that iPhone even have thin PCB ( which are strong and elastic ) across that weakness point/area.

I'm surprise you didnt post link to order Motorola Droid Turbo 2 or X Force here whistling.gif

tldr : Phones are fragile electronic despite all the tech.

32GB there is referring Techbug set ma. laugh.gif
Since Techbug bringing in and the device is priced like that, gonna assume Huawei MY prices will be similar. Better to order from SG if want early (and/or don't care about local warranty)
*
Bully me cry.gif

Gonna wait this time, since N6 still much capable as daily driver biggrin.gif

I think the Google engineer is overly cautious giving the warnings. I doubt a lower input cable can cause any damage to charger or phone. As all typeA to type C cables definitely cannot achieved 3A input
*
Actually his concern are these cable doesnt design strict according to USB forum's spec.
One of his review in Amazon said it's a risk for some of those cable maker to put high Amp output but lack backward compatibility to older USB port designed many years ago ( that couldnt take high power input ), risk damaging/burn devices/phone/USB port.

In which situation? LOL, isn't that too obvious? That would have to be while sitting. I'm pretty sure we all sit, don't we? Or, some actly stand all his life? Nahh, I don't think so. Anyway, I guess some things need to be reminded, in case people have forgotten. Let's take at the look at the link below that shows how his phone bends as a result of real-life impacts, and what the person who experienced it said

...............

Summary: just remove your phone from your pocket before you sit, like women. Apart from preventing it to bend, you could also show off your phone tongue.gif
*
Well not sure about your's, but my butt are large round meaty, not thin horizontal hard bone. From mechanical engineer point of view, it's so much different.
In case you're dont understand how physics work. Try compare damage make by large flat object and small sharp object, with same force/pressure.

user posted image

Yes, a large ( heavy ) person with his/her phone at back pocket sit on hard surface, chances of bending are high. Bear in mind, almost all ( I think all but there's Nokia laugh.gif ) phones bend. I can almost guaranteed no phones including 6P or cheaply made china clone would bend half ( as how that youtuber end up ) when you sit on it.
What the youtuber did are apply strong force over small area, on exact weakness point.

Not sure if it's just me or the Nexus 6P takes stellar shots

I admit the Nexus 6P suffers from some flaring from the lights. I think this is due to the bigger pixels.

But in low light this beast is hella good.

EDIT: iPhone 6 Plus pictures are slightly darker in low light. But doesn't blow out the lights as much as the Nexus 6P. The Nexus 6P takes warmer pictures in low light and while the iPhone 6 Plus takes really flat pictures in low light, has a slightly grey tint to everything.

Wonder why Google does not made dual sim phone, as starting at Android 5.1, Android natively support multiple sim.  laugh.gif

Google = US company
US = dont use dual SIM

Personally dont understand reason for dual SIM, why not dual phone, smartphone are cheap now.

Okay for the 2 questions, here the answer
1) Company phone and personal phone , that just one example.
2) 2 phones is bulky?

I do occasionally use two line, but never in my mind I wanted dual SIM phone, so the company line will use nokia phone with one week standby and super-duper-annoyingly-loud ringtone sweat.gif

I remember doing summer part time jobs there could get you around 20aud/hour. Great to finish off buying gadget wishlist. Oh, I'm still using the Australia's Google Store though, has way more content than Malaysia's. And free stuff from music to movies  icon_idea.gif Used a friend's Nexus 5 before and it's darn smooth, want to switch my OnePlus One over to this new baby.

In the meantime, I'm stuck here watching the whole political drama involving certain people getting kind donation of 2.6 billion. Ah, somehow I feel like switching to a political career.  icon_idea.gif

Lenovo-motorola will be super late, may ( or may not ) getting update. Seeing how they lied during marketing and now dont give update for phone release just this year.

NOW back to topic

How many times it's been rated best Android phone ever ?

For prompt updates, I think only recognized OEM like HTC and LG able to achieve it so far. (prompt updates with no bugs)

Other OEM like Moto, Sony or OnePlus still have a long way to go.

The worst is OnePlus, no official announcement when will it get MM on OP1 and OP2
*
HTC might not be as good/fast as we think. They even complaint not feasible for monthly security update, while Samsung and LG are happily follow Google's footstep.

Sony I hope they're on good path, since they started this AOSP program. I really really hope one day they ditch their not-so-good-looking UI and stick to stock looks.

Those are most likely isolated case, nowadays it's easier to get into spotlight using controversial bad news or different opinion. Unless Huawei or Google step out to claim things or disprove things, I wont believe certain news completely.
My N6 back cover still good and tight, surviving bend test everyday in my slim fit jean, not a scratch or bend at all from drops to solid concrete, what does it mean biggrin.gif

Actually, its cheaper than hardcore photography, or hardcore golfing. tongue.gif

But you sell your stuffs 2nd hand, so the net investment is much cheaper.
*
I have GAS ( google it if you dont understand tongue.gif ), so my way are similar to uncle benny. Sell it before warranty expired or before it's value drop too much, then get new toys brows.gif
For example I get latest Nexus yearly, friend said I rich for doing so, but I actually spend little only every year [ New phone cost - old phone sold = few hundreds ringgit ] yet I get latest toys. I think it's much better way than pay full price, use 2-3 years then sold away cheap with few hundreds, yet stuck with old tech for the 2nd or 3rd year sweat.gif
Of coz la, benefits of not marry yet laugh.gif

Photography is ok la actually, as camera doesnt depreciate that fast. One good gear may last you long long time before better one may come out, but that one good gear cost a lot. Any tips on how to win ToTo ?
