I'm sticking to my Nexus 6 as well. Still quite future proof. Agree that the price does not justify it, but only because of MYR weakening. If it's 3.1x MYR to USD everyone would be jumping to switch.

For me its the battery life, when I see the new Moto X is only 3000mah with 5.7" QHD, I was skeptical. I am very paranoid after experiencing with a bad battery life experience on my current Moto X 2014. 

True. If one wants to tinker with flashing, why not just get a cheaper android phone than a Nexus?

Seem silly to buy a Nexus just to flash it, when you can very well do with other phones.

I absolutely agree - the main reason why I bought the N6 is because it's cheap now, and it's a Nexus so regular official/custom ROM updates that *do not* affect the camera quality, unlike other non-Nexus phones.

I also have friends who would not bother flashing the phones and leave it as stock - with ads and stuff (yuck! ).

To each his own la...and with a Nexus it's easy to ensure you would still get the latest Android versions even if Google is not officially supporting it anymore, plus the batteries are can be changed via DIY to prolong the life of the phone (not sure about 5x/6p...)

So usually just paste skin on the back? Then front put tempered glass? But for Nexus 6P you think need screen protector since its GG4?

Haha I work at factory so I worry might damage the phone. But so far I take really good care of my phones, no problems at all, and all protected with SP and case since Day 1.

But I really like the naked feel, just afraid to take the risk.

Hmm, so I guess for the 6P, using skin + transparent case is out of the question. I think I'll just settle for the Spigen case for 6P then...not sure whether anyone will bring in or not.

Well soya cincau posted that the device will be here by December, well in time before Christmas.  I didnt proceed with an overseas set, prefer to wait out for a local set this time around

And the nexus 6 after marshmallow update felt snappier and got a better battery life. Quite honestly, no reason to change (except maybe for a better camera?) but being an android whore, just go with the annual ritual

Depending on price, if slightly above RM2k I still swallow. If its close to RM3k, I might downgrade and go for Huawei Honor 5X.
