Would it be better to take SG's pre-order discount then? Tradeoff is warranty, I guess. Hmmmm....

Weird. Soyacincau and some of us here mentioned that Huawei gonna bring in. But based on my conversation with a Huawei staff who is accountable for this kind of thing, he said while huawei malaysia would love to bring nexus 6p to malaysia (like they always do with other models of huawei), at the moment they still dont have confirmation whether they will get allocation for malaysia yet.

I don't give any hope that Huawei MY will bring Nexus 6P this year.. most probably only early next year just to complement their own flagship phone sales..

I desperately need a new phone to replace my broken Nex5. currently using the cheapest Lenovo phone while waiting my 6P to arrive .. sigh cry.gif

They will bring it in but yes most likely later ... now they have a very hard time to price it ... u know lah with the RM mambo jumbo

Aiyo, I prefer Spigen Glass SP... But doesn't seem to have it on their site. cry.gif

But if it's GG4 it should be more resistant to scratches right?

As per my earlier post, I've emailed the Spigen customer service and they confirmed that their case does not cover the auto focus.

Cheers!

Now USD so strong, even Note 5 also almost same price as N6, but Note 5 supposed to be for highend whereas N6 supposed to be for mid-range consumers. I wanted to get the N6 but now looking at our currency strength, N5 more value lol.

Yup agreed,as much as I love nexus,I find its not worth the price for Nexus 6P. I miss Nexus series old pricing where last time you can get the best specs at only RM1500,sadly now,the specs wasn't like the best in android market with expensive pricing sad.gif

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Oct 25 2015, 01:45 AM)
but the 6P is in the same flagship category as the N5/S6/S6e+. Just down to what kind of person you are. and what is the money's worth to you.
*
Flagship is just like a name,in terms of specs, functions, and all that,Nexus 6P is overpriced and not worth the costs. Even One Plus Two is flagship, its more like flagshit for this generation specs. And also, remember that Nexus devices are originally the cheapest price you can get for maximum specs

You must understand, it is not something the OEM or Manufacturer can control, it is all due to the exchange rate. Not just the 6P is affected, every phone out there or anything that isn't Malaysian made gets affected.

So if you want to compare price, you cannot compare based on the price in the past when USD is 3.2-3.3, to be relevant, you have to compare with any other handphone at the current pricing.

Look in Amazon for Verus [High Pro Shield][Steel Silver]

I may buy the 6p just because of this case

I already decided to keep the money and go for next year devices. This year phone prices really cannot justify the specs.

My HTC One M8 still running flawlessly and smooth, i mean really smooth.

I understand, but Nexus BASE price is higher than before during Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 times. It's true that Google said its more premium and stuff, but I still remember that Nexus 4 was one of the best android phone where even flagship phones like S3 and other competitors during that time couldn't compete, why?Because of the specs and the price it offered, and again,I'm talking about the BASE price, not the currency rate

Not sure putting on a casing on this sexy machined phone is a good idea, the deeper reach of the fingerprint sensor. The phone simply stunning by its own way. drool.gif

Same thought, unless my phone broken. Interested in 6p and Z5 compact, all over 2k while original Z3 compact not over 2k, couldn't justify the bump. That's why Xiaomi 4C is really a bargain now.

I'm planning to buy the 6P from Lazada SG and have a friend bring it over to MY. Anything I should know before buying the phone from SG? First time buying phone overseas
