QUOTE(irenic @ Oct 3 2015, 11:48 AM) maybe u're rite. but one thing i notice most of our local distributors do not like to reveal info. they only 'talk' once they call or invite for press and launching event. Better safe than sorry...but I remember Huawei Malaysia did post something about 6p.

QUOTE(zhou86 @ Oct 4 2015, 01:02 AM) This is the speed of the Mate S: I expect Nexus 6P to be equally fast. So far no video of hands-on showing the fingerprint reading speed on the 6P, have to wait for reviews. Same speed in Honor 7, but if you carefully scan your fingerprint in most direction, the unlock could be faster and less error. I like the looks of fingerprint scanner on 6P more than squarish used on Huawei own brand.

QUOTE(mockv1per @ Sep 30 2015, 08:55 AM) im still waiting for mate s, should be cheaper compared to 6P. Coming very soon I believe, and yea Huawei phone quality is on par with major OEM. At least the signal is good.

QUOTE(zhou86 @ Oct 25 2015, 07:47 PM) Haha yea I saw it, very nice. Not sure putting on a casing on this sexy machined phone is a good idea, the deeper reach of the fingerprint sensor. The phone simply stunning by its own way.

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Oct 25 2015, 07:06 PM) I already decided to keep the money and go for next year devices. This year phone prices really cannot justify the specs. My HTC One M8 still running flawlessly and smooth, i mean really smooth. Same thought, unless my phone broken. Interested in 6p and Z5 compact, all over 2k while original Z3 compact not over 2k, couldn't justify the bump. That's why Xiaomi 4C is really a bargain now.

QUOTE(zhou86 @ Oct 25 2015, 10:15 PM) Yea but I think it seems quite slippery on the hands... But i really tempted to get from SG too. Just not sure whether Malaysia will bring in the 32gb version or not. I think is just a matter of time, but still going to SG will be faster way. Black graphite owns!

QUOTE(irenic @ Nov 2 2015, 01:42 AM) I mean the price we pay is inclusive of taxes in US. For our local tax, we have to pay to our local customs. Nope, taxes in US varies depends on region. Web store doesn't charge you tax because they didn't have any physical store. Say if you buy in new york then tax will he charge based on new york rate. But if you buy oversea, they don't charge you tax. Only tax when get into Malaysia, sirim, get....

Yet mate S selling the same price, don't know what to say. Shall i say Mate S overprice or 6P too cheap? They can easily sell 6p from 2899-2999.

QUOTE(Nuzzary @ Nov 24 2015, 08:54 AM) Or maybe it's just a mistake because the official launching is not due yet for at least another 2 weeks.. Hahaha.. This is a more reasonable reason, just testing the website.
