QUOTE(aspartame @ Apr 7 2017, 09:41 AM) Sometimes I laugh at Singapore being a major financial centre but the way they do things are backward and ancient. This kind of 3 level prices have been around all brokerages in Malaysia for so long already. And it's all FREE. lol Not to mention all their banks have no fingerprint reader and IC reader |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Apr 7 2017, 10:59 AM) Yeah,.. even in Aus brokerages, provided free for many levels,... Woah. Woah. SG is not efficient. Experience:S'okay-lar... their currency is strong, they do things faster and more accurately 'even if low-tech',... I'll live with it,... compared to Kangkung Land and Down Under,... - Took almost 1 month to fix their computer bug (assurity) after complaining to them via phone. Some more it's govt related. - Took almost 1 month to approve my account (Phillip, DBS V) - Waiting time at DBS is bloody long. CDM Machine rosak... (this happen at MBFC) Do you think we can write in and complain to MAS that their service is slow and inefficient? Btw, what happen to AU until you complain like that? QUOTE(elea88 @ Apr 12 2017, 03:46 PM) http://www.theedgemarkets.com.sg/article/t...-predictability Considered it before but read something bad about the company. Generally I stay away from anything with Keppel on it. Maybe it's just me. But they don't seem like a nice company which value shareholders.“KIT currently trades at a prospective FY17 dividend yield of 7.02%,” Sinha says. “In comparison, the Singapore REITs Index offers a prospective yield of 6.04%, while the Singapore Government 5 year and 10 year bonds offer 1.68% and 2.21% yields, respectively.” Meanwhile, Sinha notes that KIT’s net profit is forecast to grow by 8.8% in FY17. As at 12.47pm, units of Keppel Infrastructure Trust are trading flat at 53.5 cents. Wanna consider this? This post has been edited by Ramjade: Apr 12 2017, 04:12 PM |

QUOTE(elea88 @ Apr 12 2017, 05:11 PM) i am out of KEPPEL CORP. I know is a business trust. Was looking at it when price was 0.4x that time. Not much info. Saw an article ran by investmentmoat but make it don't looks favourable. Took a look again after the edge article, have no idea why did they increase their debts so much. for about 3-4 years, it have been constant. Then last year if I am not mistaken, suddenly took on huge debt.still hv KEPPEL REIT- still at losses; KEPPEL DC REIT. this KIT is a business trust. |

gark What's your opinion of keppel infrastructure trust? I am abit apprehensive towards keppel counters but the dividend yield too good to give up.
Also, it's defensive stocks. Bad or good time. I believed this counter can live. But not so sure... I asked leslie, he said no problem with this counter. But he broker what. Sure say no problem. This post has been edited by Ramjade: Apr 13 2017, 09:11 AM |

Guys, what happen if a company filed for bankruptcy? What happen to the shares?
Eg is erza. It filed for bankruptcy. What happen to those still having the share? Cannot take back the money even 10-20%? Also eg sabana, if the manager is not changed, they want to delist it from SGX. What happen to those people having say 10k over shares? |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Apr 22 2017, 09:38 PM) I'd be interested to see Frasers Centrepoint Trust on Monday first,... This counter serves as my diversification into the Retail REIT subsector of the REIT universe. FCT got prpblem with bedok. They are fighting with CMT at bedok and losing the fight. Other than that, they are as good as CMT. |
