Bro,... to understand 100% and to experience fully in everything, u need to have at least 100 shares holdings in such ctrs. Then,.........you are in the game ! The knowledge can be applied into all the ctrs that you are holding,.. but of course, we are not waiting for such events to happen,...

I am asking these questions as my friend asked me these questions (he is interested to invest in SG too) but I don't have the answers to them. sad.gif

curious why you go for FCT for mall? Their malls are focused on neighbourhood.

I vested in Capitaland Mall Trust. below 6% it seems but I like their malls.
*
Actually I think both are same. Not much difference as both focus on suburban malls

Hi folks, new to this thread, was lurking SG REITs for quite some time. Time look out other SGX counters as well.

Bear in mind I have the read the past 108 pages for this thread, you guys have any thoughts on M1/Starhub and Sheng Shiong?
*
M1 got offer to privatize. So is expensive.
Starhub fuel their dividend based on loan. Not sustainable in the long run.
Sheng siong is ok I guess.

Good that you took the affort to read all 100+ of the page.

Price shot up right? Because of privatization?

the sea is big. not only fish BTOU only. I can fish ASX too. still have made up my mind abt having 2nd trading acc.

planning to go Sg soon.
*
I decided to go with 2. Reasons
1) whatever bought from DBS stays with DBS
2) cannot get SCB so went with maybank KE to save cost.

Btw, you don't need a maybank account to open KE. You can link your SCB account to KE.

Should u be withdrawing over the counter or TT to Msia acc ?
*
I am not withdrawing money back to malaysia. sweat.gif
I am trying to withdraw money from my DBS Cash trading account to my DBS MCA. (DBS Vickers having promo SGD5 rabate/trade) If can I want to transfer over to my DBS Vickers cash upfront but don't know how to do it.

Even if I want to withdraw back to Malaysia, most likely I use transferwise. Alternatively, I will use Cimb. They have money back guaranteed lowest rate promo or they will refund the differences.
https://www.cimbbank.com.sg/en/personal/new...-promotion.html

When you go to SG, make sure to sign up for transferwise. thumbsup.gif I didn't sign up that day cause no time.

U mean sign up transferwise with CIMB SG ? but I don have acc with Sg CIMB. what should I do ? anyway, I don want so many accs in Sg. 2-3 are enough.
*
No. Transferwise is it's own service. It's a fintech from UK which help people to move money cheaply around the world. They can move money back to Malaysia but not Malaysia to SG.

Cimb SG account is "free".No fall below fee. biggrin.gif thumbup.gif I keep only SGD50 inside. tongue.gif If they start charging, will close account thumbup.gif

Do I have to walk in to Sg CIMB to open an acc ? which branch have you gone ?

how to apply Transferwise service ?
*
No need walk in. Application is online. Both me and elea have it. You can park your money here while waiting for opportunity. rclxms.gif It give you 1% pa without any TnC except
(i) min SGD1k or else no interest
(ii) Max SGD50k. If you keep > SGD50k, interest drop.
http://www.cimbbank.com.sg/en/personal/pro...er-account.html

For transferswise,
https://transferwise.com/register#/

Last time need to go office and veirfy yourself. Now don't know what's the process. I found this
https://transferwise.com/help/article/24432...an-verification

Btw, make a request to them to launch transfer from Malaysia to Singapore. The more people request, the higher chances it will be approved icon_rolleyes.gif

Mine is rebate too.  Surprised that it goes to my "Cash Account" instead of "Cash Upfront Account" as I used my "Cash Upfront Account" to trade.  My Cash Acc don't have any fund and only the rebate is sitting there, and I just transferred out to my Cash Upfront Acc.
