yea, i did a quick research and seems like 18mm should be good enough for me.. i'm afraid that 12mm would be little bit too wide.. as for body, how different is xt10 compare to xt1? it seems like xt1 has weather sealed and it would be quite handy for me as i find myself shooting in rain quite few times..
*
I'm using XT-1 actually and I love every bit of it but I'm not sure if both X-T1 and 18mm can fulfill your budget. Probably used units. hmm.gif However, not easy to find the used units..

Anyway, I just received updates on my Apps Store for Instax Share app, it's now updated for SP-2. I quickly Googled because I don't recall there is any refreshed model yet. It is still a rumor yet but I'm surprised the app has been updated to accommodate it. laugh.gif

Can't wait for it, I bought the SP-1 for my friend and I always use it when we travel. biggrin.gif Now I will buy it for myself. biggrin.gif

Walao SP-2 coming ah? Gotta collect some more money 😂 Was planning on getting SP-1 but seems like new model coming..
*
Yeah, I saw the update for my iOS app last night for SP-2.
I was also planning to get another SP-1, looks like I will wait for a while for SP-2. Expected in July.

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Jun 27 2016, 12:14 PM)
But the specs for SP-2 is not much of improvement. Many people actually complain why they don't use instax wide film instead of the mini film.
*
Not sure if eventually they will add or not.

QUOTE(mrcaaattt @ Jun 27 2016, 12:31 PM)
Wait, people already know what the sp-2 is gonna be? If so, mind telling me?
*
I did post the rumor link last night.

Looks like the SP2 is gonna cost $199. Gonna be 2 colors too, gold and silver.

No wonder they updated the app, it was announced today...
Too bad, $199 doesn't sound justified for me for such improvements. Looks like I will grab a cheap SP-1 from online sites and apply voucher code. laugh.gif

Noted. laugh.gif I don't think it will be cheap if it's priced at USD 199, thanks to Brexit, we slumped further. sleep.gif

SP-2 is definitely isn't worth IMO. Also seems slightly thicker on the sides?

According to one of the sites I read, it is supposedly to be lighter. laugh.gif

i consider to buy SP-1 many times. but due to poor photo quality i have decided to wait new model update, and finally !
read a lot of SP-1 review, photo quality very blur and always over exposure, lost a lot of detail sad.gif  vmad.gif
CR-2 battery expensive and hard  to buy. but now SP-2 have better photo quality, built-in lithium battery, micro usb port mean can use power bank. rclxms.gif
*
Actually I am using powerbank to power up my SP-1. laugh.gif
Yeah, those photos quality will need some sacrifice, trial and error and edit using photo apps on phone.

wow good, but the film is a big trouble,
about RM 2.75 /pcs hmm.gif

Well, that's the sacrifice I meant. You will need to spend quite a lot for trial and error. laugh.gif
Luckily my China friend bought a lot as it is cheaper in Taobao and can use during our trip. biggrin.gif

Lovely shots! Always wanted to take that kind of photos but I'm also very shy. Most of the time, I curi2 snap and run. sweat.gif Luckily so far I have no problem, once my friend was a bit unlucky when she took photos of an old peddler and she was "caught", the old lady forced my friend to pay her RMB 50 which my friend refused. laugh.gif Then just bought a pair of handmade shoes from her for RMB 20 but she still insisted on additional RMB 50. We pretended didn't understand her accent and ran away. tongue.gif

X-T2 looks good but I'm still not tempted enough, at least it hasn't crossed my mind to upgrade my X-T1. All depends on the price, if it good enough without me splurging a lot to top up from my X-T1, then I will consider to get one.

Not something that I die-die must upgrade. I didn't even use the video recording on my X-T1, what's more with 4K recording, I will under utilize this function too. laugh.gif

I like the 325 AF points, I think that's a lot more compared to X-T1 right? tongue.gif

Will be announced in 5 days time, let's see. laugh.gif

Hello Fuji users. Been a long time since I have been in Lowyat forums. I've upgraded my X100 to a Fuji XT-1 with 23mm f1.4
I couldn't stand the sticky aperture blade issue so, XT-1 it is.

I hope the XT-1 is still a worthy upgrade since the XT-2 is in a near window frame soon.  blush.gif
*
Yeah, it is. biggrin.gif
I also started with 23mm on my X-T1 since it was launched back in 2014, now expanded to two more lenses.
Well, if it has not much significant differences for me comparing to X-T1, I may not upgrade to X-T2 too. biggrin.gif

You can press whenever you like right?
I used that when I was in Shangrila, Yunnan. Quite useful, camera on tripod, I just pressed whenever I feel like I wanted. laugh.gif

I heard that the Fuji 18-55 2.8 - 4.0 is better than the Fuji 16-55...

Fuji 18-55 got OIS somemore, great for night shots and video biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
*
Though I don't own this lens but I was told Fuji's 18-55mm is the best among other brands.
