Saved u so many times, but u never learn the lesson

Used to have that sound. Checked with SC, said valve cover also. SC told me can claim EWP, but those piping need to pay which cost around Rm800.

But after I send in my car to fix the aircon cooling coil together with enhancement program. The sound is gone.

So I dont bother it now.

Is that agreed value?

I insured Rm3k.
Able to cover windscreen replacement with Huper Optik tint.

Bear in mind, the windscreen replacement itself ady cost Rm2k+-

If the car ady registered under ur name. U cant reject/ they wont change another car for you.
What you can do is refuse to sign on the collection note, force them to repaint/ touch up/ rectify for you.
Once u signed the collection, thats all. Nthg can do.

Then u shall insist change to another car. If they said that is the last unit, proceed to another branch.

Any idea workmanship + parts how much for 408 windscreen replacement?
One of the shop charging Rm2600 for the windscreen replacement. WTF

I was quoted at Rm2600 for windscreen itself only.
Email-ed CLiC, said SC price is Rm3k (windscreen + labour).

I tot the start stop function can be disable? Not sure, just asking.

There is no break in period needed on our car, not like Japan made.
Just whack nia~ I terus fly 160kmj on the 3rd day of ownership.

Prevention and taking care of ur turbo during ur daily drive, this is how I do:
1) Do not high rev or hard pedal when starting ur car from cold, let the temperature goes up to 90'c warm up a bit before doing do (which dont recommend always hard pedal also)
2) Try to have smooth drive instead of sudden pedal always
3) Before turning off the engine, let ur engine/ turbo cool down a bit by driving slow/ smooth before turning off the ignition. (Eg. After an aggressive, have 2 or 3 km slow drive to cool the temperature before shut down engine)

Anyone done decarbon? Can feel any different?

The extended 7 year warranty is quite useful. Much better than the 3+2 warranty that covered by insurance company.
I claimed below stuff without issue:
- turbo unit + manifold
- Aircon compressor + condenser
- Oil filter housing
Except the turbo need wait for HQ approval, the rest can be settle within one day

These 3 were claimed under extended warranty. After my 5th year warranty.
SC: Skudai Citroen (JB)
1) Turbo
Engine light appear, sent in to check on 01 Jan 18, confirmed turbo unit. Proceed with claim. Took 1 month plus to get approval from HQ. After approval, SC took 3 days to complete the replacement and test. Additional, they even help me to change/ claim the cylinder head cover even I dint complain about it, they found out rosak while they replace turbo.

2) Oil filter housing
Smoke from under chassis while driving, oil leak. Sent in SC and confirm oil filter housing leak, get it replace on the same day

3) Aircon
Rattling sound from engine bay. Sent in and confirmed compressor failure. Get it replace on the same day together with condenser.

The speed and service level is all depends on Service centre, this new SC very good in the speed, everything chop chop settle. While last time the other SC took few days to settle.

The claiming is all depends on SC effort. Nasib~

My 408T just clocked 100k last night.

I think my turbo failed quite some times ady, not boosting well and I very long time never hear the turbo sound, just no error message pop.
Until December 2017 I went to Genting finally error message pop, and slight of power lost. That time the mileage should be around 95k, cant rmb correctly.

When my turbo was OK. I can hear it when I depress the pedal after it rev up. But dont know since when I cant hear it anymore, so I think the pressure leak somemore. Until the crack got bigger and bigger, finally the error pop, till I get my turbo replaced. Now the sound and boost is back again.

All same. Just cosmetic different
