QUOTE(sycluap @ Mar 18 2016, 10:50 AM) Dear all Sifus, 1. RON95 shouldn't is a problem as some of our member use RON95 and so far so good. I sent 408T for first inspection today. The Service Advisor shared a few tips with me, claiming it will prolong the durability of the car, I not sure if it's true. Opinion and advices welcomed. 1. Pump only RON97 - claiming if use only RON95, after 3 years the engine sure got problem. 2. Never use the fuel down to "E" only pump. Pump at least 1 quarter before empty - claiming this will prevent HPFP to last 3. Bring the car for service 1000-1500km before due and follow the service schedule religiously - claiming will prevent any breakdown. How true are the claims? 2. not sure, normally i pump full when half tank (1 week once) 3. not necessary, as long not over 500km from your expected service mileage then is good. (to protect your warranty) my 2 cents |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Mar 25 2016, 11:07 AM) Actually higher the DIN, larger will be the size and may not fit into our battery box. But you have managed to find DIN77 to fit nicely! What brand is this? update once i back .. i also forgot which brand..That's good price for DIN 55. I think higher DIN battery by Century are larger in size, cannot fit into our battery box. There are other brands that will fit into our battery box, but do not go for unknown brands. For sure they will not last, even though higher DIN. If battery dead, one way is to jump start engine before battery change. As far as I know, you need to go to SC for reset, unless the Century Battery Assist have the equipment to reset and have done it for you. Just check with them. |

QUOTE(de_sengal @ Apr 6 2016, 12:27 PM) My 308 do not have any issues on the engine. But other than that such as cooling coil, turbo coolant pump, thermostat and etc that I believe shares the same part as 408. And some of it might due to the design issue such as the thermostat. wow .. do u have the receipt .. And fyi, for last year alone I have forked out almost 20k for the maintenance. I just share my experience so you guys know what to expect. And I have no issue or whatsoever for the first 4 years. really interested to see what to fix with 20k here .. |

QUOTE(lowyatnetacc @ Apr 7 2016, 11:39 AM) mofo if i can put my receipt here what are u gonna do? Are u willing to pay me money? actually i don't need your money. i just want u to ban yourself from this forum forever. Give my your promise publicly that u won't ever use your djboycalvin account ever again then i will post my receipt. it's it a deal? QUOTE(lowyatnetacc @ Apr 7 2016, 11:46 AM) what i provided is literally basic maintenance. it's like ABC or 123. are u 18 years old? Still expect other people to spoon feed u and do your home work? yes if u able to do so .. all the while u just use your keyboard to speak for you .. we just want see the receipt and you CANT even show but saying something not relevant ... im dont mind if my djboycalvin account can buy info from you .. but then .. DO YOU ABLE TO PROVE IT ? till today .. NO .. we just need info.. no point we defense for peugeot also .. since someone sharing what bad then we see what is bad .. then we make it as reference.. bashing peugeot user doesnt make u look great anyway, worst to worst maybe we just a "victim" in your point of view .. it is helpful if you able to provide info but then u look like a disaster here .. not helpful yet making trouble .. dont u agree ? we here to share and make friend not create war .. ok ? QUOTE(triketra84 @ Apr 7 2016, 02:17 PM) Actually I think you're speaking about yourself. Like I said, I just bought it. with DUPE acc ... If there were servicing involved, I wouldn't hesitate to post it up here unlike some pussy. So empty vessel, I think you're speaking about yourself. Low resale value shouldn't be a problem since you have plenty of money. But then again face value, you'll have a problem since your attitude matches up to it. Lol |
