No need remap or piggyback. Supercircuit downpipe is plug&play. No CEL.

Dont know what you called it. I guess you can call it a defouler or a bypass. So is a plug & play and no CEL.

The downpipe has no more cat. So is no a highflow cat. It is a straight pipe through. 2.5"

Is any 408T owner here using the Bluetooth OBD2 reader? Can you get any readings through the Torque app (or any other app)?

I have the bluetooth OBD2 device, but i cannot get any readings from the car. But i can get reading if i use it on other cars like 308 and RCZ.

So just wondering if anyone knows what is going on? How to solve it?

I dont think there is 408FL that is manufactured/built in 2016. Maybe pre-register in 2016.

If you think about it, the new 408 e-thp is launch in 2016, why would they still manufacture the FL? But i could be wrong.

If not mistaken, production of 408FL stop in 2014/15. Hence all the big discount to clear stock and make way for the new 408 e-thp.

Griffe and non-griffe Turbo version has the same suspension set-up. But if you have the 18", the ride might be abit harsher than the non-griffe. But you get used to is VERY fast.

You must be a super hardcore driver to whack a corner until ESP come out. The tolerance of the car before the ESP kicks in, is quite high in my opinion. So you must be taking corners kao kao for the ESP to kick in.

Is either that......Or.....I am not whacking it hard enough or fast enough.....Old liao....Balls shrunk alr.....

Not easy to get the rear-end to buang in this car. Unless you pull handbrake and "piao piao". You get more understeer situations happening with this car. But anywyas, be safe on the road. Dont "piao piao"......

The Stage 2 map is more aggressive than Stage 1 (obviously), so you need supporting hardware to support the new map. You can still go and do a Stage 2 map, but i think it is a waste of money since you wont be able to extract out the performance potential of the Stage 2 map (most probably it will still be a Stage 1 performance gain). Anyways, better to pasang all your performance parts first, then one-shot go do tuning. If not you waste alot of money. You tune now with stock car parts, then later you mod, you have to retune again, mod, retune again. Bazir duit.

If you on a budget, i suggest a drop-in filter and a downpipe. This will give you an increase in performance which you can feel. This are all plug-and-play items.

As for the selekoh issue.....Prius lighter....That makes it more nimble and easier to handle...The electric motor has no lag and sends all the torque to the wheels at very very low rpm....So pick up wise i wont be surprise it will be faster....But you should be able to catch up from mid-range onwards....Maybe the Prius got secret mods ler..... Better suspension and tyres will improve the cornering abilities but at the expense of comfort.......

They can have both. Certain driving parameters it will just be either electric motor, petrol engine or both. All depending on the driving situation and the power reserves on the battery.

Drag race with electric vehicle, the pick up part definitely will go to the electric vehicle. As you said, the power is instant. But only the early part of the drag la.

Watch the Grand Tour last episode. You can see they have a drag race between GTI Mk7 and Bmw i3.

I think older cars should use abit thicker oil. The engine would have had a certain amount of wear and tear already if it is old. Thicker oil can properly coat and fill up those gaps caused by wear and tear (of course this may not be visible with the naked eye). I am at 50k km and i am using 5w-40 already. Hehehehehehe But i didnt notice any slow down in response though. Maybe i not sensitive enough ler.....

Yups. That also. Depends on how power the electric motor. The McLaren P1 electric motor produce 200hp like a Golf GTI.

But then, cannot last long wan. After a short period, the battery sure kosong already. Then need recharge or use petrol engine. Hahahahahhaha.....No sound some more if use electric motor......

5w-30 to 5w-40 is not that much thicker. Just slightly only. If jump to 5w-60 then is DAMN thick ler...

I am like you la....Cautious....Thats why start to use abit thicker oil...The oil becomes thin when is hot.....You know ler, this engine runs very hot plus malaysia weather also hot....Just worry that the 5w-30 will not be thick enough after it heats up..... Paranoid....

A friendly and neutral advice here. If you already have doubts, i suggest maybe you dont get the Peugeot. The worst thing is getting a car and then you have regrets with it, and every month still have to pay installment. The regrets is the worst feeling of all. So if you already having doubts, dont proceed with it.
