QUOTE(SKYjack @ Aug 31 2016, 08:36 AM) As I understand, NA major service is at 80k. Which means ,service price at 80k ($3300) is right. Which also means, 50k & 60k service should be normal. Why are those high. Check your bill on what additional work was done. Btw which SC service your car? 80k at Kota Damansara 50k and 70k, i cannot remember but should be either Kajang or Glenmarie will check my bill and share again

QUOTE(NXaqua @ Mar 3 2017, 03:58 PM) Finally picked up my Peugeot 408 2.0 just now. Quick finding. 1. Quality & handling ok. 2. Interior finishing ok but slightly blemish by spot here & there. Acceptable but still Peugeot could do better to improve their image. Later will drive from Penang to Ipoh then Gerik, and final destination - Kota Bharu. Using 408 (2.0) since 2012. every thing about the car perfect except slightly high petrol consumption, average 11-12L/100km.

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Mar 12 2017, 10:36 AM) Funny thing is mine seems to be sticking to 8.8/100, city drive or out station runs. On out station runs I usually do between 130 -150kmh. speeds. I'm not an overly aggressive drive, but do like a brisk overtake. Beginning to suspect my indication may be erroneous. FC used to be 9.7/100km, drop to 8.6/100km after enhancement package last May, now has settled at 8.8/100km. may be because you never reset. mine reset each time pump petrol. also reset at B record after each service

QUOTE(Muhammad Ifwat @ Mar 13 2017, 03:47 AM) hi im going to buy peugeot 408 2.0 2016.. i need some info for this car.. i read all alot about 408 T cant find about 2.0.. can some one give some info for 408 2.0.. 1. Does the Maintenance wise is bad for this car? 2. Does it give huge problem ? pleasee and thank you good deal now at rm80k. 408 (2.0) no major issue. so far mine claim air cond blower motor and door stopper only since 2012. normal service rm400+, major service rm1500+ (twice since 2012). petrol slightly high but worth the power and feel (12-13L/100km).

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Apr 3 2017, 11:15 AM) IMO changing plugs at 50K should not affect your FC, but if your FC has increased then it is a good idea to change them. Check out functionality of oxygen sensor. This also leads to high FC if faulty. Not sure about the white privilege card. I was one of the early buyers in 2012, no card at that time. Mine is coming up to end on 5th year. Last week decided to check out FC on my way to Penang. Just before the trip I reset the counter, held 150kmh almost all the way, slowing down for traffic and AES spots. Was very pleased to note average FC 8.3/100, even at that speed. This Prince is certainly quite an efficient engine! Very happy with it's reliability & performance even after 5 years! you can apply the privilege card now, me also buyer in 2012 and i apply the card in 2013. card entitle 10% discount on part during service and also can use the lounge at subang airport which i used almost once 1 month since 2013

QUOTE(djboycalvin @ Jun 25 2018, 10:34 AM) can fb search for Renautech .. or contact William (0162386886) .. Thanks, contacted William. Part cost RM180 (1year warranty). Labour to replace RM40 (if front) RM50 (if rear) before i managed to call Willaim, I went to my regular workshop at Puncak Jalil (SG Auto), after they technician plug in the computer to diagnose which wheels with faulty sensor, the "ABS faulty" indicator light disappear. The shop suggest me to drive for few days and wait if the faulty light re-appear then only replace. SG Auto
