The haze just gone, now Kuali Alam generate new one again?

It seems like the Kualiti Alam is indeed very near to BSS, actual distance is how much?

This is serious, polluted air will defeat whatever effort the developer put in to develop this great township.

Not sure, but I am sure kualiti alam will tell you none..

Even no toxic gas, those micro particles such as haze also bad for health..

Ya because these industrial chemical can't be recycled and can't dispose it like general rubbish so it is consider hazardous to enviroment , living creature as well. So there is a reason Pusat Kualiti Alam was established. The matter is how well is Pusat Kualiti Alam take care of this dangerous waste.
How good is their risk management?

Risk management for sure in place, but in Malaysian style..

Based on google map, about 7.2km or 10 minutes drive between KA and d'Tempat Country Club. Will BSS air quality affected or worst harmful in long term, it really a concern for me before placing my order.

Penduduk mahu pusat sisa toksik ditutup

Lebih 13,000 penduduk Negeri Sembilan telah menghantar petisyen kepada Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar, menggesanya menutup dan memindahkan pusat pengurusan sisa toksik di Sendayan yang dilaporkan menyebabkan penduduk berdekatan mengalami masalah kesihatan.

Ahli Parlimen Rasah, Teo Kok Seong berkata beliau menerima banyak aduan dari penduduk Kampung Felda Sendayan dan Bandar Sri Sendayan mengenai pusat pengurusan sisa berjadual bersepadu Kualiti Alam di situ.

Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini, Teo berkata penduduk yang tinggal berhampiran loji itu mengadu mereka sering mengalami penyakit kulit dan sesak nafas akibat pencemaran udara.

Ketika dihubungi Malaysiakini, Teo berkata kontrak operasi loji itu tamat pada 28 Februari tetapi kerajaan telah membenarkan ia terus beroperasi selama 15 tahun lagi.

Katanya, penduduk sudah menghadapi masalah itu selama hampir 20 tahun dan "kini kontrak telah tamat, (dan) anda melanjutkannya selama 15 tahun lagi?"

"Ini tidak adil kepada penduduk," tegasnya.


"Kontrak itu telah tamat, tetapi apabila saya menyentuh isu ini di Parlimen, menteri berkenaan memberitahu saya bahawa tapak itu masih mampu mengendalikan bahan buangan toksik selama 15 tahun lagi," katanya.

Katanya, beliau berharap kementerian akan mengkaji perkara itu dengan serius, dan mengambil tindakan segera kerana hanya ia yang boleh berbuat demikian.


"Malah, Menteri Besar Negri Sembilan, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan menyokong perjuangan kita. Beliau sendiri berkata pihak berkuasa (untuk menutup loji itu) adalah Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar [...]. Mereka yang boleh buat keputusan," kata Teo.

Pusat pengurusan sisa Kualiti Alam diberikan lesen beroperasi pada tahun 1995 oleh kerajaan untuk menyediakan pengangkutan, analisis, rawatan dan pelupusan akhir buangan berjadual.


Pada 27 Februari, sehari sebelum kontrak operasi tamat, empat gudang menyimpan sisa toksik di loji itu dilaporkan terbakar, dan menutup kawasan sekitarnya dengan asap hitam yang tebal.

neonikson1 what do u think about the smoke coming from KA? safe for BSS Resident

Kualiti Alam said the air quality ok after the fire, we really don't know how true it is.

but is kinda far from bss resident area right?

Seriously, I didn't say this because i have personal interest in it, but I was there at the main entrance of KA for a few times, I see no smoke from the site and I also didn't smell anything awkward. Not only me, my whole family + my in-laws were there too and no one complaint about anything.

We were only impressed by the township planning, the spacious (22x80) modern looking and G&G DSL, the 8 years free membership for a 5 stars club house facilities, and the low entry point which gives the buyer a big upside to their investment.

Rather than just hear say, why don't you all pay a visit to BSS and experience the township yourself this weekend? There are lots of freebies to enjoy!

The BSS residential area has a distance from KA, direct distance is around 8km.

The nearest buildings to KA are all the MNCs factories. I wonder did the MNCs not conduct the environmental studies before they commit their millions in BSS?
