Another question guys.
I have two keyfobs. and they are both different type lol. One is Type A the other is Type B as shown in User Manual.. Type A without remote tailgate release just unlocking only, Type B with the remote tailgate release/unlocking button. 1.3 Exec has remote tailgate release function so shouldn't both keyfobs given be Type B? Instead of 1 Type A and 1 Type B This post has been edited by LordDenning: Oct 1 2015, 11:18 PM |

QUOTE(Cwkc93 @ Oct 2 2015, 05:35 PM) 1 month plus already with my car, so far everything still so good, parts not falling apart, no squeaking(rats) sound, no rattling, no build issues. (I hope this continues to be like so), cause compared to my Honda City, when I first got it, rattling started 1 week after getting the car XD bro wanna ask, your 2 keyfobs are both of them the same type? Or got two types as well?yadea adijb you guys also 1.3 Exec right? My earlier posting for reference. QUOTE(LordDenning @ Oct 1 2015, 11:08 PM) Another question guys. QUOTE(Kais767 @ Oct 2 2015, 09:51 AM) Maybe you can try holding down the unlock button for Type A to see if the tailgate function is there? Did as you mentioned and hmm surprisingly the Type A keyfob still has the remote tailgate release function like in Type B, although without the icon on the button. Can't brain Proton. Why dont just give both the same type. QUOTE(trushalvora @ Oct 2 2015, 11:37 AM) first time im hearing of such case, 1 car model but given two diff car keys? i think you better check with SC. Waiting for other 1.3 Exec owners to shed some light on this |

QUOTE(adijb @ Oct 2 2015, 08:25 PM) My 1.3 cvt exec keys are as per your description for type B for both keys. My 1.6 cvt exec are both type A. Both cars are dec 2014 batch. Okay wow. Idk what to say. Simple basic stuff like keyfobs also not consistent. Aiyo Proton... So for your 1.6 exec, even with Type A keys, you can still perform the remote tailgate release? QUOTE(yadea @ Oct 2 2015, 08:59 PM) Okay thanks for info. So looks like Type A or Type B doesn't matter. Still able to perform the remote tailgate release function. At least yours both same type haha. Mine 1 Type A & the other Type B. Wonder if anyone else have different keyfobs or i'm the only one with two types of keyfob for 1 car lol. |

QUOTE(Cwkc93 @ Oct 2 2015, 11:41 PM) I have both Type B's with remote tailgate release, why yours got two diff sets? Should go back and change it thou i have no idea why lol. Go back to who and change? I'm pretty sure SA cant do anything about it as they most likely got the set of keys from factory itself?Service center? They got do these stuffs ah? Hmm, if want change also quite susah right. They need to make another set of the key, dont know they will take how long to do it. Then need put in same immobilizer code, etc. Not sure how is the process like. But seems mafan to go through this process. I myself not bothered by it, but just annoyed that such a stupid thing like giving customer 2 different types of keys can happen. Plus i'm not the only one. Like bro yadea has both Type A's when it should be 2 Type B's. and bro adijb got 2 Type A's for his 1.6 Exec when it should be 2 Type B's as well. *facepalm proton* |

I just went for a joyride.
Took the Iriz for a run, went up to 4k rpm/120+km/h and heard the VVT breathing/roaring to life. Btw, CVT huh... From 0-100+ the speed just climbs and climbs. Like a train feeling. It just goes faster & faster. No gear changes, no upshift jerks/lags, smooth all the way. If one doesn't pay attention to the speedo, could be totally oblivious towards driving speed. Btw want to ask for 1.3 CVT, what is the rpm @ speed. Mine is 2.6k-ish rpm @ 100km/h but 2.9k~3k rpm @ 110km/h. Is it correct? This post has been edited by LordDenning: Oct 3 2015, 11:02 PM |

QUOTE(aki_zz @ Oct 4 2015, 12:16 AM) Looking at the figures... the turbo is 6 speed MTThe torque is 190nm. Probably at the top of the gearbox limit. I read somewhere the getrag 5spd MT max torque value is 200nm. 1.6 has 150nm, so if wanna put siput just light boost until the torque is closer to 200nm...Well that's IMHO. After that maybe change the final drive. |

Bro adijb want to check with you for your 1.3 CVT, 100km/h @ 2.6k~2.8k rpm and 110km/h @ 2.9k~3k rpm? Correct?
Other 1.3CVT owners feel free to answer too This post has been edited by LordDenning: Oct 4 2015, 04:36 PM |

QUOTE(aki_zz @ Oct 4 2015, 04:59 PM) The glove box has been like that since savvy. I always wondered did they left the glove box under the sun before installing it because it has never flushed with the dash. I thought come Iriz they have fixed this. yours doesn't close evenly too? I'm wondering if there is any fix for it. Like taking it out and adjusting it back again or something like that. |

Got 3 types of warning. 1) key symbol + low 2) car batt symbol + low and 3) key & car batt symbol + low Which one appeared? |
