I'd suggest either TGV 1Utama or TGV Sunway Pyramid.

I tried both for interstellar but their screen was not clear as Pavillion Atmos (Hall 2 and 3) quality.
Should give it a try again either either one haha.
Still hoping for the real IMAX to come Malaysia.

Watched it. This is one hell of an overrated movie.

War film , but feels like everyone so chilling. Like lining up to go to school.

The civilian boat captain is too chill. Like very happy to go save the soldiers.

The whole damn movie, not one scene showed the germans.

And the repetitive music gave me headaches after a while.

This movie is not intense enough for a war film . Really felt way too easy and simple to escape.

And the spitfire scenes were plain boring. Go behind enemy, shoot shoot , enemy goes down. Not intense enough.

Overall, its a 5/10 for me. Way way way overrated and overhyped.

i did enjoy the movie which portrayed the realities of war where there are soldiers did not die from actual gunfighting but from other circumstances like drowning and the bombs. poor souls bye.gif

Yeah, it's not a 'typical' war film, because it solely focuses on the event, which is the evacuation and nothing else. I respect that.

Some good articles about the film accuracy as oppose to the actual event:

Very immersive. Felt really good, really enjoyed the whole ride. Constantly intense.

I guess to me this is a good example of less is more.

Definitely one of my top war movie.

Sound effects absolutely top notch.. The plane engine and gunshots can make you jump out from the seat. Why can't other films have the same sound effect?

Didn't really catch any of the main characters name...

for me its more about the cinematography and style of Christopher Nolan than the actual event itself.
its set in 3 different timeline looking through 3 different perspective of the war event.

its worth to watch if u like this artistic take. if you looking for Saving Private Ryan kind of American war, then.. not really that much here.

I put too much hope on this movie, definitely not the best from Nolan.

Watched it when it was out on the first week. The score was fantastic. Then when the credit roll, oh it's Hanz Zimmer. No wonder. Didn't know Hanz Zimmer was involved before the movie. laugh.gif

Like: the score, the war feeling, how with very little dialog you are able to feel the intensity in escaping a war.
Don't: the arrangement.

I watched it yesterday at TGV Sunway Pyramid IMAX.

The sound system is really awesome. It feels like you in the war.
This is my first Christopher Nolan movie I've ever watched.

I think I gave 4.5/5.

I never watch his other movies, so after this, I will start his previous movies and make comparison.
