Happen to my iphone recently after updated the IOS 12 from IOS 10. Sometimes i need zoom in zoom out only responsive. even keypad lagggg delay few seconds which is annoying

Apple replaced my iphone6 since still under warranty.

This is the reason why my iPhone 6 Plus is still on iOS 10. Super smooth even for a 5 years old phone. Hahaha.

You did the smart thing by avoiding iOS 11. Those who did might as well update to 12 coz it’s far better than 11

Yeah. Hahaha. My iPad mini 2 is still working so smoothly with iOS 10 which i cannot believe that it is a more than 5 years old device anymore hahaha.

Ya, the key for older devices to survive: avoid iOS 11

and dun always upgrade to the latest iOS despite it can be supported. haha. seriously after 3rd year upgrade can stop already hahaha.

I think most Apple users upgrade to the latest iOS coz that's one of the plus points vs Androids - unless of course if their devices are jail-broken

Depend how long more you plan to use your phone. If long more better go for Ori Apple batt

Planning to move to oversea long term and keep my Malaysia SIM card number for receiving SMS tac code in future but not using mobile data.

setting - mobile data - mobile data options - data roaming OFF. (To turn off internet data)

But the Mobile data I turn ON for receiving SMS?

Will be using iPhone 6 as my second device just for receiving SMS.

No mobile data required to receive SMS.

By the way just a heads up, Malaysians banks will slowly phase out SMS TAC very soon.

Just realized that my ip6 is unable to update apps..keep waiting and waiting and waiting. Any idea why?

On WiFi or Data?

Data...because office wifi can't connect apps store.

Trying to install apps now, also can't.

Someone reported this issue before - could be iOS limits app updates over data due to the size limitation. A workaround is to use a hotspot from another phone.

But all my 18 apps are still pending to update. Out of 18, none of it has small file?
Anyway, will try look on other wifi source.
