just finished deleting all photos/videos on my iPhone. around 2.5 years time, my 64gb iPhone 6+ was already full. and kept on deleting apps to take more photos.
next iPhone x 256gb should last me longer. |

QUOTE(xortz @ Sep 25 2017, 09:25 AM) guys, i accidentally dropped my iphone 6 plus.. I dun think you can just change the glass alone rite? since the iPhone 6+ is using laminated display. there are cracks on the edge as well as slight line from top left edge to centre of the screen. please advise where to fix it and what to fix? some said just change the LCD, some said just change the glass. Any recommended shop to do the work? how about the responsive? will it be like original? better to send back to apple to repair instead. dun trust outside ah beng shops. QUOTE(rebus @ Sep 23 2017, 07:29 PM) What's the price for second hand iPhone 6 16 Gb? quite reasonable price I would say. just to warn you that 16gb is a joke. it will become your bottleneck super super super super fast.I want to buy. one seller offer for RM 800. Isn't that too high especially since no warranty? This post has been edited by westlife: Sep 25 2017, 10:23 AM |

QUOTE(ykgen @ Sep 25 2017, 11:13 AM) it's a good idea to move the photos to portable harddisk or to computer. otherwise they will just take up at least half of the phone storage for nothing... Yes. As a form of backup also. I backup my full phone to my macbook. But half a year ago my both iPhone 6+ and se are full. So now I copied out all the photos and videos to portable hardisk and clean up my phone storage so that I can take photos etc again. besides, I upgraded my iphone se to iOS 11. No obvious difference. Now thinking whether to upgrade my iPhone 6+ or not also. This post has been edited by westlife: Sep 25 2017, 12:08 PM |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 13 2018, 08:23 AM) Been waiting for the new iPhone, previously I upgraded to 6 Plus from 5s but the 6 Plus was so laggy compared to 5s 😅 didn’t want to be another white mice so I skipped X. But now can consider haha, cannot tahan the slow processor and little RAM, my games always refresh when I multitask 😔 time to consider Xs Max or XR.my iphone 6 plus is still ok because i am on still ios 10. so far so good. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 13 2018, 10:27 AM) Ahh, I went with iOS 11... but from what I recall, the iPhone 6 Plus was more sluggish when compared to 5s... I guess the bigger screen + lack of RAM really takes a toll on performance. iOS 11 i think it is the cause of the problem. personally my experience on ios 11 is not good comparing to ios 10. but i think ios 12 should help. wait til ios 12 you can see if it improves the user experience for iphone 6+. normally S series of iphone like 5s, 6s etc. the performance improvement to non-S one is quite significant. QUOTE(StarPrimo @ Sep 21 2018, 07:09 PM) Seems like several IPhone 6 users that updated their phones to iOS12 have missing Apps for Measure..... Not only iPhone 6, I have iPhone X and SE both upgraded to iOS 12 but I cannot see the measure app icon on home screen but funny thing is if I do a search I can find it. |

Officially switched back to iPhone 6+ 64gb from my iPhone SE 64gb now.
Both changed batteries under the current promo at Apple. Still prefer a bigger screen for gaming and light web surfing. Will keep SE for spare. One thing also is that it is likely for iPhone 6+ to get one more iOS upgrade next year. It also means the phone will need to retire soon. So fully utilise it before I change to the latest iPhone next year. Hahaha. Surprisingly, even I am using iPhone X as my primary phone. The 6+ is still very capable phone. If does. Of feel slow at all. |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 7 2018, 09:37 AM) yeah. one reason why apple up the price across all of the lines of products was also due to the fact of the decline in sale figures for all the products recently. the only prob is probably the limitation of the 1gb ram in it. else the rest of it is totally fine. iPhone 6 Plus has only 1gb ram thus it is short for the modern games that we can play today.

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 9 2018, 07:41 AM) Ya. Cannot expect too much. haha.Compare the lifespan to the money paid. It is worth every single cent. If one really has no high req on smart phone, the iPhone 6 Plus can still easily be used for anther 2 to 3 years. In fact, I can still see many uses it today. |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 10 2018, 07:12 AM) True, I have a couple of colleagues still using the 6 Plus and they insist it still works fine. Maybe Apple will continue support for it for another couple of years since iPhone 5S is still supported this year. I think iOS 13 will be the last possible ios? Even it is last, it is not bad already since it will be 5 years old next year. |
