Ok so 1 dimm per channel, 4/8 slots used each with b-dies.

Don't have any experience with quad channel myself, but maybe your imc/board is running into limitations on oc after 3200?
But if you were able to hit 3700 with mixed sticks that wouldn't make much sense then.

You can change the order of your sticks too, sometimes that can make a change.
How about giving 3600 MHz 16-18-16-38-1T a try? Leave others auto first.
If issues maybe assign some subs:
tWR 12
tRFC 300
tRRD_L 6
tRRD 4
tWTR_L 10
tWTR 6
tRTP 6
tFAW 20
tCWL 12

Good luck.

Had fun benching with 9900KS, not golden but significantly better than my last 9900K (5.0GHz @ 1.280v). I'm limited by thermal, custom loop probably needs some maintenance. Voltage/core temp scaling on RB v2.56 AVX for 1 hour:

Core/Cache (GHz) vCore (v) Min (°C) Max (°C) Stable RB 1H?
5.0/4.3 (Stock) 1.181v 32.9 77.4 Yes
5.0/4.7 1.181v 35.4 79.5 Yes
5.1/4.7 1.225v 36.1 85.8 Yes
5.2/4.7 1.270v 37.4 88.1 No

For GIGABYTE, that vCore shown in your CPU-Z is wrong because it's not read from a die-sense sensor like ASUS. Your actual vCore can be read from HWiNFO64 as VROUT.
Also, RealTemp can only read up to 4 cores (GT up to 6 cores).
I'd suggest using HWiNFO64 to monitor temps, voltages, CPU power package etc.
A Loadline Calibration (LLC) of High or Turbo is recommended for GIGABYTE to get better vDroop control.
You might want to go through first post of this thread for GIGABYTE OC guide.
Good luck smile.gif

TS benchmark at 5.2/4.7/ DDR4-3200 CL16 vs 4266 CL19,

3200 CL16: CPU score 12.1k

4266 CL19: CPU score 12.5k

That's an 3.3% improvement with faster RAM speed. smile.gif

Not an apple to apple comparison because you're comparing 8700K + Z370 ASRock vs 9900K + GIGABYTE Z390. Could be either IMC or BIOS RAM setting issue as you're playing with auto most of the time. My last 9900K and current 9900KS have stronger IMC than my 8700K, based on the same board. smile.gif

Yes, your real vCore = VR VOUT. Now stop looking at CPU-Z. smile.gif

Memtest64 is not good for RAM OC, probably useful for checking faulty RAM stick only.
I always use HCI and Prime95 custom blend with 90%+ memory load.
OCers have been recommending 2-3 hours of GSAT, Karhu Ramtest 20000%, HCI 1000%.

Finally moved the 9900KS to my V3000 build to replace the old 8700K.
Other updates are Maximus X Formula > Maximus XI Formula, Strix 1080Ti SLI > Vertical Strix 2080Ti.
TridentZ RGB sticks now received Royal-like crystal tops. biggrin.gif

Initially had problem getting my 32GB memory to POST at the rated 4266 CL19 specs with the latest 1401 BIOS, but managed to get it fixed with the older 1302 BIOS. However, ASUS' auto-set both SA and IO voltages at 1.40v gave me errors in HCl test. Reducing both SA and IO down to 1.25v has allowed me to achieve stability.

4x8GB DDR4-4266 CL17-18-18-38-2T @ 1.45v

In order to achieve this stability, the RAM needed to be actively cooled to bring the temp down from 55C to about 40C.
