QUOTE(ky_khor @ Nov 24 2006, 02:51 PM)
question to the mini, micro lot trader:

the indicator can show differently on different time frame chart. most of u do long term(weeks), mid term(days), or shortterm(intra-day) trading?

is it worth waiting when u're on the losing side? or close it immediately? (or stop-loss?)
*
I use stop loss. It's a very important habit to use stop loss. I trade whenever there's a chance (indicator positive). Many times I dont trade anything at all in a day. Dont force yourself to trade when theres no good trade. You will lose money that way. sweat.gif

WTA....marketiva open account is free of charge?

No it's actually -USD 5. sweat.gif You get money instead of paying.

in my understanding, short means

u buy GU at 1.8953 for example.. then it goes down to 1.8900 .. u gain 53 pips.

using marketiva right?
no, it won't clean up.
there is 3 or 4 tabs for u to chose and see.
the 1 your looking at probably is the trading that you had done, for example what price you buy and what price you sell, both in 2 rows.
there is a tab which shows you the price you buy and sell in single row.

short indeed is sell.

u open short GU at 1.8953 for example.. then it goes down(meaning bearish) to 1.8900 and you closed the position.. u gain 53 pips.

indeed you have to sell cause the trend is downdtrend. (bearish means that the current price is going down.) so if downtrend = sell (short). if you go long(buy) you will lose pips instead of gaining them.
