hmm.. don't really understand this thing
QUOTE
If you use high leverage and get super lucky. Let's say you leverage your positions at 100:1. That means that if you start with $1,000, at full margin, you can trade $100,000 of currency.

So, if you have $1,000 to trade and you want to buy Euros for example, if the EUR/USD pair is at 1.20 and it rises to 1.21 in ten minutes you make a $1,000 profit. You double your initial investment in just ten minutes!

why does it meant by having $1000 but can trade $100k?
is this means i just pump in 1k, and i have 100k as capital? if i lose all 100k, then i have to pay additional 99k??

haha.. any good sites that allow me to play a demo account??

To make it easy , let's say u have deposited $1000 (USD) and u open a position for 20000 quantities = ( 200usd) .  At the PortFolio it will show that your Used Margin : 200.00 and Available Margin : xxx - (Amount after deduct your Used Margin and Total Profit)

Example :  GBP/USD  [Bid = 1.9143]  [Offer = 1.9148]

You Short on G/U at 1.9143 with 200 USD and u will see a -5 pips because of the 5 pips spread. What will show in your Portfolio is like below :

[USD 1000.0000]
Used Margin : 200.0000
Available Margin : 790.00
Total Profit : -10.00
*
ok ok.. i get it..
it was
buy: 1.9148 * 20000 = 38296
sell: 1.9143 * 20000 = 38286

so, i'll lose $10
correct?

using marketiva right?
no, it won't clean up.
there is 3 or 4 tabs for u to chose and see.
the 1 your looking at probably is the trading that you had done, for example what price you buy and what price you sell, both in 2 rows.
there is a tab which shows you the price you buy and sell in single row.
