TM called me yesterday.
I made a report on the 10th, 1-2 days after they had first changed/ given me a new Huawei router to use as compared to my older one. Reason for complaint: Horrible service at night.

The lady called me and immediately asked me if everything was fine and if it was okay for them to send technicians over today. I asked her again about the date I made the report, and she was reluctant to mention that it was almost 2 weeks ago - though she finally did. She apologized for the delay.

What amazed me is that TM had no clue their technicians came and swapped routers with my older one (stock TM router for TM router). I mentioned that from my previous report, they came and had only changed routers and nothing more - which she had no clue. And then I said upon using my own new router everything is rather fine and tolerable for the time being - despite a little instability at night.

She seemed a lil shocked when I mentioned that I'm using my own router now, and said that she'll escalate this technical failure of their routers to her technical management team lol i said tak payah, just don't disturb my connection now

Changing your local router only helps if your old local routers is spoiled. The problem with ping time to USA servers lately seem to be the routes within USA backbones itself, which shown in my pingplotter software. Lately try a VPN WTFast and route got rerouted to Singapore before going to USA servers get much better ping time.

But if your ping is to a Singapore server, not sure what is going on on your end because for me, Singapore route via Unifi seems good.

Change router already? mine 30Mbps stable~ can download 3MB Speed ni prob...

Blizzard USA sites having issues now if you use Unifi. Happened recently. Yeah I notice some mobile providers have better ping too. But the problem seems to be within USA routes when connection move from Malaysia to LA. I noticed Unifi will change between routes at different time, but both routes also got issues no it does not help at all. I tried to switch to mobile data plan, or WTFast and notice the route changed to Singapore first before going to USA which improves the ping a lot (2xx or so, which is fairly normal when Unifi is *normal*).

As it is, I am not sure what TM can do. Unless they can inspect data packet and identify online MMORPG connections should be routed to Singapore while the rest (probably data hogging Netflix etc connection) go to the *normal* route. But do they have that kind of data packet inspection tool?

I too started experience this crap during my last 1 week or so when I was on VIP10

I do use Unifi. Damn, I couldn't stream 360p videos properly as well. But I think over all still slightly satisfied. Too sad it's all monopoly.

Using VIP5 here, banyak problem at night, slow like kura-kura

tested in speedtest.net ping only 40ms
tested in ping-test.net ping avg 400ms
however, very high ping in Diablo 3 (500-700msec) since upgrade to 30MBps

follow advices from forumers here, called Unifi to reset my port at midnight,
guess the ping now in Diablo 3 ? 1337 - 1700msec
ping-test.net gives 7xx msec

worse than before reset
end up using WTFast

haven't test other online games since i'm not playing any other.

for download and torrent, touch wood no problem so far

evening CSGO ~40ping
night after 9pm ~80
sometime spiked to 100+

haha that's the risk whenever you ask TM to reset port.
Once my speed was so-so only, good for light browsing.

I called them to reset port, terus jadi cam haram.
Even my Chrome lag.

Loaded quite a few videos in 1080p these 2 days during 8pm to 10pm
