Now pump petrol weekends no discounts everything no discounts why you all still hold on to it...me because too much hassle to switch
*
It's because we have other cards for other purposes and it is still useful when I dine outside during weekends and if they accept AmEx.

In addition, it's still useful to collect points if they are no other cards that can collect cash rebate.

10 cards from what bank?
*
Varies from banks. Maybank, CIMB, HLB, UOB, AmBank, Aeon (not a bank but laugh.gif), OCBC and Citibank. laugh.gif
Citibank is because of company's corporate credit card.

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Sep 27 2015, 03:39 PM)

*
Didn't count but I guess 4-5x of my annual basic salary.

These cards still useful for watching movies at TGV with RM10/pax any day.
Yesterday the CC terminal at TGV was down & the cashier allowed me to use cash for payment, RM10 only.
*
Yes, useful and my colleague mentioned TGV 1U is pretty troublesome, RM 10 tickets only for those first few rows. doh.gif

The Citibank corporate card, any special design?
*
Nope, ugly like hell. Hate it because it's gold colour.

So high ur cl..you didn't have other commitment such as car or house loan?
My total credit is different than you, just 1/4 of my annual salary..I have to reduce some cards credit limit to increase my chances of approval due to high commitment
*
Only car loan, house loan not yet, soon and I don't know will be approved or not later. laugh.gif

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ Sep 27 2015, 07:40 PM)
No such rule at KLCC. I always got seating at the last row as no body will seat behind me & kick my seat. whistling.gif
*
Yes, that's why she always goes to KLCC and Jaya Shopping Centre as well.

Boss, not 1st few rows.

It's just next to the premium seats.

Approximately 3-4 rows from the top.

And this only applies to 1U

You go Sunway and etc, you can pick anywhere.
Because klcc tgv is so cramped, nobody will bother to go if you limit the sitting availability tongue.gif
*
I think they changed the ruling, earlier only first few rows.
Anyway, all TGVs have no issue except for 1U.

And also AmEx thread which recently added another section for 5% dining cash rebate on first post: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3532126

apple online store accepts amex?
thinking to buy iphone with amex.
rm 4k x 5treatpoint = 20k/400
i got rm50 rebate?
*
Yes, accepts AmEx. Last year itself I bought 5 or 6 units of iPhone 6 and tonnes of TP that I used to redeem stuff, and some were bought during weekends got cash rebate too. tongue.gif Those were the days when weekend cash rebate is still there. cry.gif

Anyway, back to your question on the TP yes but the RM 50 rebate nope, unless you use it to redeem vouchers and etc. smile.gif

Sadly this year the price of iPhone has increased and no more cash rebate. The points have also devalued already. Not sure are they going to have any rebate like last time. If not mistaken is RM300 if you purchase in Pavilion. Fruitie, are you planning to buy this year?
*
Yes, I don't think I can afford to buy one this time. sweat.gif Yeah, that was an event and I managed to grab one, no. 12 in the queue, boss gave me permission to go off earlier and queued. laugh.gif brows.gif RM 300 discount for 64GB iPhone 6. laugh.gif

I hope I can get one this year, last year despite buying so many, none of them was for me. laugh.gif

Hi guys,
Any difference between platinum and gold 2 cards?

Thanks.
*
Not much difference. Just on the insurance coverage.

From first post: 6. Complimentary Travel Personal Accident and Travel Inconvenience Insurance if you charge your travel fares in full to your Maybankard 2 Platinum Cards

cl mainly based on your income, nothing to do with gold or platinum card. you can get a low cl with plat or a high cl with gold.
*
MBB2Plat's CL starts from 15k if I'm not wrong but of course there are other Gold cards holders get higher than that after requesting for CL increase without upgrading card.

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Oct 4 2015, 05:34 PM)
I remember some here has CL of RM100k with his/her classic card..

And I know that's you. laugh.gif

Just want to ask, easy payment will charge me interest or not?

Because the shop says easy payment 0% interest over 12months.

I dont know about easy payment thinggy.

Please advice me. Thank you
*
Maybank might charge you 0% interest but some shops will charge you hefty service charge. Please check with the shop again.

Do more survey is the keyword when buying something.
Cannot afford to buy in cash, buying using easy payment are wrong to begin with. As most shops that doing easy payment will charge some admin fee of minimum rm50 or 5%, which ever higher. Some maybe charge 0% or rm0 admin fee but the price are much higher.
Only opt for this if the price are really low and with 0 admin fee.
*
True.
The only time I did this was last year when I attended Maybank's iPhone 6 event which if you opt for EPP for 6 months, you get RM 300 discount. Who doesn't want? laugh.gif No admin fees, and 0% interest. laugh.gif
Though I still don't understand why Maybank wants to do this. If you pay full (without EPP) only RM 100 discount. laugh.gif
