I wonder if this is applicable to amazon? Or perhaps its cheaper via cimb cash rebate?
*
If online transactions, I still think those cards that give cash rebate for online transactions will be better.
Please continue in CIMB cards thread.

Cool . Thanks for your advise Nicole!

No problem. smile.gif

My maybank 2 card approved. Yay
*
How do you plan to use this card since its benefits have reduced to dining only?

Honestly i dont know.

What i want in my cc is af waiver, get points to redeem  item and a lot merchandise discount programme  when shopping.
*
Obviously, use it for dining on weekends if the restaurants accepts AmEx.

Then, for other merchants use AmEx if they accept and if you don't have a better card for cash rebate. smile.gif

Oh ok... thanks

No wonder my friend she alway ask whether the shop accept AmEx or not. She using maybank 2 card also.
*
Well, previously when cash back is not limited to dining only, of course this is worth for it but since it has been revised only if I don't have better cards, I will ask for it. laugh.gif

hi guys. just wanna clarify, if someone deposited money into my credit card instead of my savings account, can i transfer the money from the credit card to the savings account? (they are both linked to the same account)

Also, is it possible to do this from overseas? Thank you!
*
It is possible but you will need to call bank to transfer it to your savings account.
You can't do it yourself, you have to call CS.

May I know what's the taxi rate for say 70km distance to KLIA?
*
I'm not sure, the app will calculate for you and I'm staying at Seapark PJ, so I guess around 70-80km? It was 71.++

I am using MBB2 card currently. The only credit card I have because maybank offered me without need of submit any documents. So i took it and realized the 5% cash rebate for all weekends transaction. Been using it until now and recently 5% rebate is limited to dinning only. That make the card very unattractive.  doh.gif

So i am applying for Ikhwan MC now, pending for approval from Maybank...
*
Already revised since 1st Aug. smile.gif

All the best for Ikhwan, the card that has the highest rejection rate. laugh.gif

Highest rejection rate  blink.gif ?? How come?? Too many people apply for it?

I made my application via phone direct to maybank. No need to submit any documents at all.
*
It is a separate entity and it has its own way of assessment.
I know I applied mine through that way and got rejected as well.

Anyway Ikhwan thread is here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3394127
Can bring the discussion there. smile.gif

As expected, 1 week after I get SMS saying my card approved, the next week I was rushing like a road menace to get that card and on the same week I did the full trolley shopping that cost me rm470 laugh.gif
*
Well, don't action here la. smile.gif
Mightypc also got his approved already. You lucky then you get la, we are unlucky then don't get la. As simple as that.

i also kene once with HLB.

because suddenly want to use high amount but cl low, temporary cl auto last for 3 months.
after that paid full and about 2 weeks before expire temporary cl
i plan to buy laptop with epp
failed for 3 days, called cs several times
finally 1 cs found out this problem
i immediately request raise case to terminate temporary cl
end up can buy epp on day 5
using that laptop now for access lyn
haha~~
*
Usually they will increase CL due to emergency case only. I tried before when I want to have temporary increase to purchase another unit iPhone as I have bought 5 units earlier. My request was rejected, I used OCBC Ti eventually as it was still 1% unlimited. laugh.gif

I know if due to medical reason like paying for hospital bills will be approved. Other reasons will be up to banks' discretion.

anyone recently purchased iPhone 6s using amex + 0% EPP?

I asked machines @ Nu Sentral, doesn't accept amex at all.
*
EpiCentre can redeem TP and I'm quite sure it allows 0% EPP because I did that last year when I attended Maybank event at EpiCentre Pavilion. We had to opt for 6 months EPP if want RM 300 discount and it was done by the staff. smile.gif

Harvey Norman has TP redemption too, I thought you were asking about iPhone. I didn't know HN has iPhone? Other Mac products, yes. I bought an iPad from HN and redeemed points before GST kicked in. laugh.gif

They are agents from another company which collects and send all credit card applications to Maybank to obtain commission, right?

In my opinion, the true Maybank employees who assists customers in applying for credit cards, would not offer such Transformer figurine as a free gift.
*
Yes and these agents will bring out different banks' application form after you sign up for Maybank
