I never got called at all when I purchased few units of iPhone 6 from Apple Store at different timing

The only time I got was when I bought my iPad Mini 2 LTE from online and that time, I was in China. Despite roaming, I still had to pick up to verify the transaction.

I think I didn't use Maybank that time, just used OCBC.

I think Maybank just picked up randomly. However, buying from Dell will have calls from banks it seems. Based on my few times experience.

If it's not, just called to remove it. It will be removed after few days. Happened to me before when I swapped MC to Visa and vice versa. They were there for so long so in the end called to remove it. Eye sore lol.

Yes, that's right! Sometimes will confuse a bit, so need to look clearly before doing any transaction and I doubt those inactive cards still can go through though.
