Not all Starbucks though, some still cannot get cash back as they are not under dining MCC.

Yes, follows transaction date i.e. Saturdays and Sundays. Posting date only determines the month of the rebate will be posted, more applicable if transactions are performed at the end of the month and cannot make it to the same month. So, it will be counted for next month's cash rebate.

lol. To be honest, I hardly use Amex nowadays. My spendings are usually petrol, telco, utilities, groceries, dining and insurance. Most of it are covered by other cards. Only use Amex in departmental store where I dont have any card that cover this category.

Yes, I love this friend so much. She has helped me to collect so many TPs so I also returned her some deeds when I helped her to buy iPad Mini 3 from Harvey Norman, redeemed RM 200 for her. laugh.gif

5X TP is only worth 1.25% cashback.
Don't want to consider other cards that offers petrol cashback at 5%?

So you prefer to have points worth RM12.50 or RM50 in cash?

Bear in mind the points won't actually get you RM12.50 as the price of things you can buy with the points normally higher a bit.

First time I hear people prefer points than cash. Unless you feel happy at the thousands and tens of thousands number la...

1.25% is better than nothing actually. Not many banks offer decent cashback nowadays.

QUOTE(cHaRsIeWpAu^^ @ Feb 4 2016, 09:41 AM)
1.25% is kinda decent if you ask me.

lets say you buy an iphone 4k with amex
rm4k x 5xtp = 20000tp
20000/400 = rm50 cashback.
rm50/rm4000 = 1.25% cashback

Secret is talking about regular AmEx card without Maybank logo. In most cases it's only 2x MR points per RM. Only selected charges earn 5x MR points. Even so, it takes  44,640 points to redeem RM100 worth of something. At best, you can pay your statement by redeeming 40,000 MR points to RM100.

I am actually talking about the AMEX card without Maybank logo
