*sigh*
whatla you people want to make issue over trivial matters all? relax aa a bit = P

big thank you to the dude UNDERGROUND for his immense help with introducing the rabbit to us less well-informed people.

I was really enjoying the super download speeds (100-130+ kbps on 1Mbps tmnet) till the earthquake hit. things have been almighty bad since then. sometimes rabbit can download, most of the time cannot = (

pray they fix things so the rabbit can run!

; )

I agree with you, Apocrypha. Take it easy guys.

Underground has done us much help, esp for people like me who can't read any China dialects.

Which bt client is better? One man's meat is the other man's poison.

So, if anyone willing to accept a simple answer, the one that works for you is better, just like what sotong168 says icon_rolleyes.gif

Anyone has problem with Microsoft Applocale tool? Torrent does not automatically open with tuotu although file association with tuotu is ticked. The torrent has rabbit icon. When I double click the torrent file, nothing happens. I have to open the torrent file from within tuotu. By the way, I am using Tuotu-2.1.0.61_sp2

Update: Today my tuotu is hopping at about 50kb/s smile.gif

If you enable UPnP in tuotu, then no need port forwarding.

Go to tuotu option and click on UPnP which is on row 9 (Sorry, I can't read chinese)
and tick both boxes. Then click ok. By the way your router must support UPnP, Some routers might have problem with UPnP. If you are not using any router, then you don't need port forwarding, that is, if your modem is directly connected to your modem through ethernet card or usb port. Some modem comes with router and you need to check if it support UPnP. If not you need to port forward.

For more detail you can check out this site:

the ports should be correct but only if you use BT and ED2K KAD network separately

Use a different port for your ED2K KAD network, otherwise they will crash if you use both p2p protocols at the same time.

EDIT: accidentally quoted pics.

Noob here but what is ED2K KAD network?

1 minutes ago i was getting 80KB/s with IP 219.XXX, the next minutes i got disconnected and getting 20KB/s with 218.XXX. Its like a routine that happen every night at the same hour, thats when the throttle kick in. This few days my touto connected DHT is 0. Wonder what happen, it didnt happen right after the earthquake though...

If you are refering to tuotu sp1, It is also unstable on my system. Why don't you try tuotu sp2? I find it's more stable.

By the way, I also find that zonealarm pro can also cause Tuotu to crash on my system.

I meant Window XP Service Pack 1, not touto SP1. Btw, heard the latest touto actually slower in DL. Is it true?

Excuse me, but I am experiencing issues with Client. I have tried setting it exactly according to the guide, minus the ports which are my own, and left it to download a file with ample seeds and peers and a perfectly working tracker. After 3 hours, it did not download a single byte.

I do not know how to tell whether it is working since I am not familliar with the language, but I do know that the arrow is green. Using a point of reference from previous torrent clients, does this translate into opened ports? If so, why isn't it downloading?

I have tried numerous trackers with numerous torrents.

Is there something I might have missed?

Thank you for your time.
