I got good speed using the rabbit, 40-70++ K/s
Settings
Global = 700
half connection = 400
Per torrent = 200
Upload = 35
Tcp Ip patcher = 1000
Ports = above 50000
Under options 7 row after bt client setting, I have to untick everything or else my speed will be less than 20K/s

Using Utorrent I cannot go above 30K/s. Bitcomet is less than 5K/s. I miss the old days before throttling.

Setting higher global connection and max connection per torrent might cause the modem, router, firewall or os connection to hang depending on your hardware.

Higher tcpip connection setting improves the spreading of viruses via tmnut connections.

If you set bt max half connection to just 10 then you only use just 10.
If you set global connection to 400 the bt will noly use up to max 400 connection. Max connection is diff from max half connection.

Use google to search for tuotu. Click translate instead of the link.
When browsing tuotu site, open links you want to visit in new window.

Maybe that's the reason rabbit works, it can connect to more peers. I set my peer connection to 200 but I cannot download from more than 3 torrents if all torrents have high number of peers because my firewall will hang.

More impt is that tmnut will not find a way to throttle the heroic rabbit. I will be very disappointed if they did.

Keep on hopping, rabbit!

I hope tmnut present equipment cannot be upgraded to throttle clients like rabbit. Then they spend their money in vain. They should not throttle p2p. Just increase the monthly fee a bit and everyone will be happy. Now they piss p2p users off.

One of the user mentioned that after formatting the drive, the rabbit performed. For those who can't use rabbit, try formatting as the last resort. Maybe also try resetting internet protocal if you have tweak your setting and uninstall all other p2p and downloading clients.

Just a suggestion

If you got good speed then no need to do anything. Be merry and enjoy your download as a testimony against the stupid NUT.

For those who need to tweak, .... me... my connection keep on dropping. So I increase my half connection and it helps me though I still can't max my connection.

Do you think uploading cost NUT money? I use to upload 1:1 ratio before throttling. Now I upload nonstop, even if I am not dl.

Only thing, I have to pay for my electricty bill. Sigh

From Microsoft Website

Limited number of simultaneous incomplete outbound TCP connection attempts
Detailed description
The TCP/IP stack now limits the number of simultaneous incomplete outbound TCP connection attempts. After the limit has been reached, subsequent connection attempts are put in a queue and will be resolved at a fixed rate. Under normal operation, when applications are connecting to available hosts at valid IP addresses, no connection rate-limiting will occur. When it does occur, a new event, with ID 4226, appears in the system's event log.

Why is this change important? What threats does it help mitigate?
This change helps to limit the speed at which malicious programs, such as viruses and worms, spread to uninfected computers. Malicious programs often attempt to reach uninfected computers by opening simultaneous connections to random IP addresses. Most of these random addresses result in a failed connection, so a burst of such activity on a computer is a signal that it may have been infected by a malicious program.

What works differently?
This change may cause certain security tools, such as port scanners, to run more slowly.

How do I resolve these issues?
Stop the application that is responsible for the failing connection attempts.

tuotu doesn't change your system's half connection. The setting is for telling tuotu to use athe number of half connection you set eg, if you set 25 then tuotu will only use 25.

If you are using winxp sp1 then you don't need any patch because Winxp sp 1 half connection is unlimited. If you are using sp2, then you might need to patch your tcpip half connection from default 10 to higher. If not it is better to set tuotu half connection to 8 or you might have problem surfing. P2P speed might also suffer.

hmm, today, the whole day my speed max out. rclxms.gif
Maybe tmnut stop throttling? drool.gif

Try lowering rabbit half connection from 25 - 20
Play around with the following ports. Try not to use same port for tcp and udp.

Also try increasing max connection per torrent from 100 to higher. Don't good higher than 200 unless have have very stable hardware. Some modem and router might crash with settings higher than 200. My old modem can't go higher than 100 so I change the modem.

If rabbit works with default setting, better not do anything. Just enjoy.

The rabbit is buggy. Because my speed is max out(120k/s on rabbit and 150k/s on connnection) and I can't surf (page loading so slow), I limit rabbit dowload to 80k/s and rabbit speed drop down to 10k/s.

When I set it back to unlimited the speed max out again. I can't have both. Either I download or I surf.

Yersterday was better the speed hover around 70++ and I can surf.

yangxi, are you using default setting on tuotu? Mine just won't work with default.

I use zonealarm and it will hang if I download more than 3 torrents at one time. I couldn't even shut zonealarm process down when it hang. I heard that zonelarm will crash if connections aree too high.

Before throttling I set max connection per torrent to only 60 and I got good speed. Now so sad. But anyways tuotu is good enough for me despite some minor bugs.
