as a cheaper alternative, u can use a table fan and direct it to your laptop while playing game bro.. tested on my NEC laptop, (celeron oni..) witout fan it can go up to 46*C, wit the fan on, can go down to 41*C, sumtimes 39*C also bro.. notebook coolers all usually nt very effective bro.. and lifting up ur laptop slightly can help too.. just my 2cents..

a table fan may not be a solution for everyone ..... it would blows away all ur papers around if there's not an object placed above it...
basically there's no proper solution as most notebook cooler just not good enough ....
if u could do some modding probably can get ur own laptop cooler ....
get a price of acrylic and drill dual 12cm fan holes and get some rubber feet from hardware shop as spacer to raise the acrylic piece higher than the two 12cm fans ..
then get urself a 12v adapter like those used for 3:5 inch external HDD case... modify the adapter to 4 pins molex and there u go .
for finishing some decoration could be done as well ...

i think cool pad for laptops quite satisfactory but not that efficient. you can also try laptop external fan.
in my experience, i used my laptop as cpu unit and use an external monitor: it works as i did not use the laptop's monitor. the system eventually become cooler... belive me, try it!

i use my laptop wif better performance setting wil keep around 60C , n play game might go to 70C....i think the main causes of the temp is the graphic card le.but nowaday C2D is alot more heat. most effective way is use it under air condition places

1. Undervolt (very easy, safe and also rewarding) 2. Use cooler (DIY urself oso can, place the fans under ur laptop's hot spot) 3. Change your CPU and GPU thermal paste (risky, needs some skill)
