 Slow like snail, Maxis 10mb Home Fibre

Its about a week since it happened. After 8 pm the download speed will decrease dramatically below 3mb. Sometimes it ridiculously pitch at 1.5mb. I hope maxis can rectify this issue asap bcos I feel like been cheated bcos maxis will charge me same bill amount.

p/s: dont ask me to try to do some 1st level tech job cos i've done it all,yet its not working.

We apologize for such inconvenience experience occurred to your good self. However, we are aware of the current issue in our home fibre internet service whereby rectification work is in progress. At this moment, we are unable to advise on the tentative timeline of the issue to be resolve.

if that so,it is clearly the issue is from ISP side. So please issue a rebate to the customer who affected on the event.

I have been getting the same too. Nothing can be done from help desk and this has been happening for weeks and worst of all, we are all still charged at the same rate without any compensation?!!!

Mine's a 20mbps and I get not 20, not 19, not even 15mbps, it is at times even BELOW 1mbps!!!

When does Maxis want to resolve this issue at hand??? I have seen many complaints but there seems to be no news about what's going on. I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided. vmad.gif

Yeah bro..if even report to MCMC also no use bcos this MCMC source of income is coming from Telco which about 3% from the profit. can u imagine how much is that. Thats why all this Telco is so big headed especially Maxis. They dont even care to taking care consumer complaint as long they can collect a bills every month..

Your excuse is ridiculous and not make sense at all. How it only at happend at night but at day time it was fine? It using same infra and configuration isnt it? So frustrated..

Maxis, what is the status now? Maxis Home Fibre is still crawling since Aug 21, 2015. Today is the Aug 24, 2015.

Hi Maxis CS,

My maxis fibre account no: 1758787814. I am facing the same issue also. once after 8pm, the internet speed becoming damn slow.
i am paying RM148 for 10mbps, in return i get speed at 1-2mb..
I demand for a rebate from your side.
Pls giv rebate to me for the bad experience i had from 8pm-12am.
From 8pm-12am usage, i am expecting to pay only 10% from the normal charges that billed by maxis based on the speed limit.
Pls clarify this asap!

I'm also encountering the same problem since past few weeks.. Sometimes the whole internet is not moving at all.. Even facebook is extremely slow and I'm tired of clicking refresh.

My connection has already complaint to astro iptv.

The sms sent by maxis at 01:59 am this morning:

Dear customer, our technical department has made changes on the issue you have reported to us. Please perform power cycle and retry. Thank you.

This morning tested and the result was less than 80% of Mbps. Anyway will test again tonight from 8am to 1am.

I think they are now congested (but these are not visible to naked eyes, and they can always bluff their way through)
