Yes agreed. Any parts whether aftermarket performance/halfcut, have the word MIVEC written on it > more expensive.

That one the recommended person is Ace Mei Mei@AceCombat tongue.gif

If it's me, I would say, for modification, just make it simple. Don't need to touch engine internals unless you have a lot of money to spend.

1) Upgrade exhaust system
2) Adjustable cam pulleys (stock MIVEC cams are good enough)
3) Lighten crank pulley
4) E-manage piggyback ECU
5) High flow drop in air filter
6) Performance clutch/heavy duty ones

Other than that, get good set of suspensions and upgrade to better brake pads and get good tyres.

If stock MIVEC ECU, you might want to get it rechipped to remove the speed cut or just get yourself a PIVOT Speed Meter gadget.

There you have it, TADAAAA!!!!

I am driving wira se and always thinking to convert or buying another wira with mivec engine. My friend who work as foreman commented that don't use mivec already although this engine really good !!! Due to spare parts mahal and hard to get it at the market now also. Unless you have a good spare parts supplier who always can find you anythings you want. otherwise, think twice before you go for wira mivec.

Lastly, i had tried the power of mivec !!!! it is awesome !!!!!! LOL...

Before you rechip, have you tested that the speed cut has been removed?
With adjustable cam pulleys, stock settings as in 0:0 or follow stock cam pulley settings? If not, just get the base timing of 0:0 then work it from there according to your preferences.

The acp setting is 0-0.i think better dun adjust it,rite?the seller claimed the speed cut is around195kmh.means end of the meter after 180kmh

Well for the ACP is up to you, with it you can adjust the powerband to your liking. Get it done on the dyno to see.
If there is a speed cut, then you know what to do smile.gif

Just go ahead and install the PIVOT Speed Meter V, it will eliminate your speed cut smile.gif
I used that for my current ride too, don't wanna do rechip rechip thingy and straight tune it with E-manage Blue. Settled biggrin.gif
