According to his thread here

He stated that he provides 1 week personal warranty

Basically 1 week warranty should cover battery as well unless he stated "No Warranty for Battery" which i didn't see that. Well, we'll wait for him to reply here and see what he got to say about it

Have you PM-ed him to come over?

It's not about the money. It's about how seller deals with this kinda situation.

What's wrong with all these people these days? Don't they understand the term '1 Week Personal Warranty'? This is bullsh*t. Heck, this reminds me of another thread whereby no warranty is given to hardware problem (just software only). What's with all these 'this not covered, that not covered' policy?

problem is. he paid for the battery for nothing. and its like giving sellers more advantage of selling craps and cheating ppls money. no offence yo. but i think the situation might not be significant but seller should have the responsibility of telling the defects of the item 1st before selling. its just like selling a car with a broken engine without the buyers knowledge that the car's broken down.

not refund entirely. either refund for a new battery since you've mention its cheap. he can handle like 40% of the cost of new battery while buyers pay the extra 60%. no burnden what so ever what. consider the problem settle.or specify other available option. if the problem has be mentioned early, its the fault of the buyer instead. If this is practised often, most traders will not trade ethically.

TS, I guess you have to check your phone thoroughly coz AFAIK, Nokia 8XXX has a lot of problem with hardware, e.g : the battery no problem but sometimes phone shows battery full, suddenly only 1 bar, suddenly phone off itself.

Not to blame anyone or put the seller into trouble, but it's just what I heard. You may try using your frens battery (if any1 using same battery model) & see for some time whether it's really battery or phone that is problematic

Kiljim is not raising the issue, he's just saying what's right, that means, you are the same with this unresponsible seller who is not going to refund even if it's the seller's mistake...

Even i regretted dealing with you when i bought that Supermicro 370SDA motherboard from you...

But u're lucky that i didn't see the dispute thread complaining about you about the processor...

If i do see it earlier, i'd wanna complaint about you too... vmad.gif
