problem is. he paid for the battery for nothing. and its like giving sellers more advantage of selling craps and cheating ppls money. no offence yo. but i think the situation might not be significant but seller should have the responsibility of telling the defects of the item 1st before selling. its just like selling a car with a broken engine without the buyers knowledge that the car's broken down.

not refund entirely. either refund for a new battery since you've mention its cheap. he can handle like 40% of the cost of new battery while buyers pay the extra 60%. no burnden what so ever what. consider the problem settle.or specify other available option. if the problem has be mentioned early, its the fault of the buyer instead. If this is practised often, most traders will not trade ethically.

threadstarter, has the seller been informed regarding the issue here? i mean, if he doesn't want to solve it, then i suppose you can attach all his personal details so we can be aware of the conman in the near future.
